Was really fun to design this balsa wood toy airplane for Noted. My concept for the design was based around another flying creature and the theme of flying durning night and day.

The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel in Singapore. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it opened in 2008, construction having taken about 2½ years.

On the turntable.

A railway turntable is a device for turning railroad rolling stock, usually locomotives, so that they can be moved back in the direction from which they came. This is especially true in areas where economic considerations and/or a lack of sufficient space have served to weigh against the construction of a turnaround wye. In the case of steam locomotives, railroads needed a way to turn the locomotives around for return trips as their controls were often not configured for extended periods of running in reverse and in many locomotives the top speed was lower in reverse motion.

The Thyrendi culture relies heavily on air travel, and these small one-man flyers are omnipresent on modern Thyrenda. This was a very fun little build, with lots of neat techniques IMO. Also, that's totally not a mangled tengwa I used for the emblem, no sir.

I saw a concept drawing of something like this on the web and really liked it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, it might just be my favorite of my moc's. Hope you enjoy.

The most practical vehicle ever, for all your around-the-town needs! Yes, they do exist.

Singapore Flyer is the world's largest observation wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Flyer offers you breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay, our island city and beyond. There's also a wide range of shops, restaurants, activities and facilities.

ArtScience Museum: This museum is part of the integrated resort of Marina Bay Sands and is known for its major exhibitions that blend art, science, culture, and technology. The building itself is designed in the shape of a lotus flower and is a work of art in itself.

Questo dovrebbe essere il flyer che utilizzerò il mese prossimo per la mia prima esposizione. che ne pensate? siate pure critici che tanto è ancora una bozza.

This should be the flyer that i'll use in febrary for my first show. What do you think about it? it is still a draft so be "cruel" so i'll work on it to improve it.

he Flescher Flyer was built in Omaha, Nebraska by Louis Flescher, owner of what was then the city’s largest bicycle shop. Flescher built a series of prototype machines during the early 1900s and the earliest documented example is believed to have been produced in 1902. He incorporated numerous advancements over other contemporary machines, including “working floorboards” which operated the brake and clutch and a drip feed lubricating device that became active when the rider sat on the saddle. The only known mention of the Flescher Flyer appeared in an August 1913 issue of motorcycling, which stated the new Flescher Flyer would be ready for the 1914 season.

This 1913 example is believed to be the last of Flescher’s prototype machines. The machine features a 9 horsepower Spacke Deluxe engine, single speed “countershaft” and Flescher’s own “working floorboards”. It is the only known example and is preserved in perfect running condition.

Thought I would risk going for the ‘Flyer’ today, hoping that the ban might have been lifted. Unfortunately it hadn’t.

Gresley 'A4' 4-6-2 no.60009 ‘Union of South Africa’ with ‘Scarborough Flyer’ at Kirkthorpe Crossing. The diesel haze can be seen from Class 47 580 ‘County of Essex’ doing all the work at the back, hence the no.9’s safety valves hard at work. The Leeds to Langley Mill DMU can be seen disappearing towards Wakefield Kirkgate. Another close thing!

Remember that pictures look better if viewed using Lightroom (L key).

Flyer for the Glazart (Club in Paris)

A flyer I made (long time ago) for the communication of an Italian Fashion Doll Convention in 2004. The Doll Collectors' Club Italia was the first independent Italian Fashion Doll Club, not affiliate with any Fashion Doll manufacturers. The DCCI has been a solid reference for Italian doll collectors for nearly 20 years. The club had a National thematic convention every year in Florence; the 2004 theme was the science-fiction. I collaborated as visual designer with the club 4 years circa. The flyer is inspired by 60's and 70's tv serial as 'Star Trek', 'UFO' and 'Space 1999'; the girl is a futuristic (in 60's style) space traveller with #1 Barbie echoes (the body/eye characteristics are similar to early 60's Barbie boxes illustrations).

The Italian pop culture always had a lukewarm attitude for Fashion Dolls collectors so to be part of DCCI has been a precious experience; we shared fantastic doll stories and life moments.

I hope to not offend any of the ex DCCI creators or members. The little part I had in the project has been really formative for me. Time has changed the way of collecting dolls and I'm not still fond of the big communities of doll collectors (like inter-Nationals convention and virtual Facebook communities), this is not a critical point of view, I had my time there and it's gone, that's all. :-)
