The Thyrendi culture relies heavily on air travel, and these small one-man flyers are omnipresent on modern Thyrenda. This was a very fun little build, with lots of neat techniques IMO. Also, that's totally not a mangled tengwa I used for the emblem, no sir.
I saw a concept drawing of something like this on the web and really liked it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, it might just be my favorite of my moc's. Hope you enjoy.

Questo dovrebbe essere il flyer che utilizzerò il mese prossimo per la mia prima esposizione. che ne pensate? siate pure critici che tanto è ancora una bozza.
This should be the flyer that i'll use in febrary for my first show. What do you think about it? it is still a draft so be "cruel" so i'll work on it to improve it.
The Berlin Hi-Flyer balloon is a popular tourist attraction in Berlin, Germany, offering panoramic views of the city from 150 meters above the ground. The balloon is tethered to the ground and can hold up to 25 passengers at a time. It is a unique way to experience the beauty of Berlin from a bird's eye view.
Thought I would risk going for the ‘Flyer’ today, hoping that the ban might have been lifted. Unfortunately it hadn’t.
Gresley 'A4' 4-6-2 no.60009 ‘Union of South Africa’ with ‘Scarborough Flyer’ at Kirkthorpe Crossing. The diesel haze can be seen from Class 47 580 ‘County of Essex’ doing all the work at the back, hence the no.9’s safety valves hard at work. The Leeds to Langley Mill DMU can be seen disappearing towards Wakefield Kirkgate. Another close thing!

A flyer I made (long time ago) for the communication of an Italian Fashion Doll Convention in 2004. The Doll Collectors' Club Italia was the first independent Italian Fashion Doll Club, not affiliate with any Fashion Doll manufacturers. The DCCI has been a solid reference for Italian doll collectors for nearly 20 years. The club had a National thematic convention every year in Florence; the 2004 theme was the science-fiction. I collaborated as visual designer with the club 4 years circa. The flyer is inspired by 60's and 70's tv serial as 'Star Trek', 'UFO' and 'Space 1999'; the girl is a futuristic (in 60's style) space traveller with #1 Barbie echoes (the body/eye characteristics are similar to early 60's Barbie boxes illustrations).
The Italian pop culture always had a lukewarm attitude for Fashion Dolls collectors so to be part of DCCI has been a precious experience; we shared fantastic doll stories and life moments.
I hope to not offend any of the ex DCCI creators or members. The little part I had in the project has been really formative for me. Time has changed the way of collecting dolls and I'm not still fond of the big communities of doll collectors (like inter-Nationals convention and virtual Facebook communities), this is not a critical point of view, I had my time there and it's gone, that's all. :-)
