Just goofing around in my backyard. I've been wanting to take pictures for daysss with some friends. But no one is ever free at the same time. So I dug out the long-lost tripod.
I'm still learning about my camera and everything that goes along with it, including photoshop. So none of my photos are extraordinary. I'm just trying to figure things out, one step at a time.
Fly With Me, to mark the one year since the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban. Flying kites, music, dance. Organised by the Good Chance Theatre at Parliament Hill Viewpoint on Hampstead Heath.
12 months on from the Taliban offensive and the UK government’s response to the crisis has drastically changed; the Home Office has slashed the number of Afghan refugees allowed into the UK, the Afghan Resettlement Scheme has stalled, and over 12,000 of the Afghan refugees evacuated last August remain housed in unsuitable temporary accommodation, unable to cook for themselves or connect with people in the local community.

Another Raptor, this time a Red Tailed Hawk. I was standing on the side rail of my truck watching as it surveyed the area for prey hoping it would spot something on the clear side of the trees. To may amazement it did! Flying across the road and in front of the trees leaving me a clear shots.

Aviation and Hospitality management conduct course of air-hostess. It’s a challenging career. An airhostess is expected to well behaved with people from different -different background. Some of the few responsibilities are– to serve everyone well, answer to everyone’s queries; brief everyone about flight and safety measures, handle any emergency situation including medical emergency.
Sometimes when sleeping very soundly, I have dreams of flying and gliding effortlessly through multiple realms filled with color and light. And sometimes, Angels and Fairies join me too... swirling, laughing... filling the air with sparkling joy. Then, when I wake up I'm still filled with the wonderment of it all. Has that ever happened to you...?

I never seem to have things set right for Great Blue Heron shots. Maybe it's because I'm always surprised when one pops into my view at close range. Panning ISO to low and shutter speed to slow.
Meadow Larks are one of my favorite birds. So catching a couple of them at close range was a real treat.

The light wasn't perfect, the wind had a cold harsh bite, and for most of the day I was on the shady side of my subject which is rarely a good thing. Humerus perhaps but not great for Kodak moments.
I wasn't alone in my plight and it wasn't until I took a chance and left the crowds and found a field full of birds on the right side of the light that my day started to get much better. Of course then people see you and someone says oh that guy, he's always doing something different. And then someone else decides that maybe I'm on to something, and then pretty soon I'm surrounded, followed........again! Oh I get the occasional nod and the occasional cool shot too. That's enough to make the day worthwhile, especially when it comes to Kung Fu fighting cranes. Those guys are fast as lightning!
