This is dedicated to photophool (George), without whose CCRRFD (flash diffuser made out of styrofoam cereal bowls) these photos could not have been made, and for his inspiration with these shots:: anther and stigma. These are my first photos with my new Raynox DCR-250 super macro lens. As you see, I've got a lot to learn.

The Strongylodon macrobotrys, also known as the jade vine, emerald vine, or turquoise jade vine, is a leguminous vine that is native to the Philippines. It is a well-liked ornamental plant recognized for its hanging clusters of vibrant turquoise or greenish-blue claw-shaped flowers. Growing jade vine requires a tropical environment, which makes it a popular choice in botanical gardens and conservatories. The plant's remarkable appearance and limited distribution add to its appeal among plant enthusiasts around the world.
