'Hello!' is an abstract photograph of stamens.

Not sure of the variety of lily this is but it wowed me with its yellow splendor. Hope you enjoy it, too.

I'll be traveling for a few days, so there will be no posts for a while. See you all soon...

Deep inside a Morning Glory flower...

I couldn't decide whether to upload this same image but with the beetle in focus and the stigma and anthers out of focus. In the end I went with this one where the flower parts are in clear focus and the bug is lurking in the background :)

I love the white walls of this delicate flower here, the backlighting being the direct sunshine outside of the flower.

Enjoy!

I dedicate this, with thanks to the angels who were along for the ride, to Jan, who, with her family, survived a horrific accident with just bruises. I hope you all heal quickly.

Here's some information about the medicinal uses as well as side effects and cautions. I posted this image before I knew Jan was going to post her shot today, so it's interesting that one of its uses is to help reduce inflammation.

I found this morning glory last week at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Here's some information about the flower.

I'm off to water my garden now on the one morning a week we are permitted to.

Whenever and whereever we're on vacation ...

if there are (botanical) gardens ...

I just can't stop looking, inhaling and photographing :*)

We have a thriving Yarrow plant bordering the meadow. It's 3ft in dia. When I sweep my hand very gently across one of its blooms, it feels like Velvet. This is a very small clipping just to see what makes it feel so soft. I think it's those miniature Roman Pillars, LOL

Hydrangea flowers (Hydrangea "Dance Party")

New York City - March 23, 2023: Walkers pass flowering Forsythia bushes along the walking path at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park, Manhattan, New York City.

One of my clients had a bouquet of assorted mums sitting on the kitchen table. So I took advantage of it. It's only about an inch in diameter. Yellow flowers are in the background.
