This is one of my favorites plants, that I love, because the flowers have such a intense color.
The sun was shining, such a great natural backlight. ;-))

The most lovely roses I have ever bought from the grocery store. They have lasted well over a week too.

This is a small lilac bush I planted a few years ago and probably not planted in the best spot it could be. It is taking a long time to grow big. It's a tiny one but yet it still manages to survive the harsh winter months buried in snow and show it's beauty in the spring.
I haven't had much time to take new photos lately. Fall is here now, which is my favourite time of year so I hope to get out with my camera :) I hope everyone is doing well!
Thanks so much for your visit! Have a great weekend! :)
A photograph I’ve kept for a while but not put on Flickr. It’s from the open day at Stody Lodge where there’s a mesmerising display of rhododendrons and azaleas. I’ve tried several times to add tags but they keep disappearing. I’ll keep trying.
Looking close...on Friday's theme is "Flora selective focus". The berry truss (subject of focus) is less than a quarter inch.
A measurement and an iPhone shot are placed in a comment box below.
Autumn, also known as Fall in American English and Canadian English, is one of the four temperate seasons. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in colour for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.
