It's probably not the smartest idea in the world to try to take photos while crossing 520 in stop and go traffic. But the waves yesterday were some of the biggest I've ever seen crossing the bridge. I was actually surprised the bridge was still open.
On my way back, the traffic was no longer stop and go, although it's also probably not a good idea to try to take photos at 60mph while on 520, and I wanted to capture the line of demarcation the bridge creates. It always amazes me.
Two floating bridges and a tugboat. The near bridge was just finished and the far one was being torn down. Available about 12"X18" and 24"X36"
Well not this section, but further out into Lake Washington, the 520 Bridge actually floats on the water. This pic was taken from a canoe that we rented from the University of Washington's Waterfront Activities Center.
C'mon people, it's windy and there's water spraying on your car. You'd think the world was ending. Oh wait, it is because we're going up a hill! Yikes!
