This was the final image I captured on this beautiful fog filled evening in Yosemite National Park. I will probably never see a show like this there ever again. It was incredible. Hopefully this image helps you to understand that.

Turn it sideways for max effect.

Enoshima - (江の島) a small offshore island, about 4 km in circumference, at the mouth of the Katase River, which flows into the Sagami Bay of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Administratively, Enoshima is part of the mainland city of Fujisawa, and is linked to the eponymous Katase section of that city by a 600-metre-long (2,000 ft) bridge.

Enoshima is famous of its shrine culture. Generally regarded as the holy place for Benten, one of the seven Japanese Gods of Good Fortune. This God, Benten, is the only female among them. She is considered to be the main deity to go to for artists and entertainers. So people who want to improve their artistic skills believe in her. On the other hand, there is a famous love story that takes place between a five-headed dragon and Benten. So, you will see many dragons adorning the shrine’s premises.

For years I have primarily devoted my Flickr account to my love of vintage signs but I do shoot more than that and, every once in a while, you'll see photographs that don't fall into any kind of urban classification lol

A battery (electric) milk float. I was thinking I haven't seen one of these for years, then a second one came up behind me!

What would it look like to shatter the idea that a fixed identity exists at all and rather just FLOAT between different versions of yourself?

- René Descartes

At the Glass Float Expo, we learned this shape was specifically used for octopus nets. 🐙 I had reservations about celebrating this glass, but it's no longer being used to trap those lovely creatures anymore. Now it exists for photography!

Routine morning check on the neural pads floating on the surface of the Alignment Tank.

Ok, I have no idea what is going on here, besides someone hovering over some weird tech stuff in a pink lake. I don't think I did a good job with pink base; it needs to be contained within a shape (square or circle, etc) or Photoshopped so that it fills the frame better and I ran outta dark pink bricks. Also there needs to be more black pads thingies. I want to try to fix the pink base by squaring it up and see if it looks nicer.

I struggle with cool speeder bikes but ugly floater bikes I can do! Anyways, a fun experiment.

A new store opened up in the outdoor mall near where we live. The store provides a service in which you float inside an isolated pod filled with extremely salty water. Ideally you float in the dark and the idea is to create an environment of sensory deprivation where your brain can reset. This picture shows the pod I floated in for about 45 minutes during our visit. It was an interesting experience. Very relaxing unless you got some of the salty water in your eyes.

for a while, but if you keep throwing it in, then it wants to turn upside down, and float some more.

Downtown Memphis - This isn't photoshopped or anything like that. It was all about the timing of the jump :)
