Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta 2017

The Grade II listed Boat Float is an enclosure for mooring small craft and, from as early as 1585, the south and west sides (shown) were Dartmouth's main quay.

Access from/to the River Dart is via a channel on the east side, under a road bridge, and is tide dependent.

Polaroid Week Day 1 | Frame 1

The cocoon of travel envelops me. A protective layer that numbs and draws me inward.

But I see light, I see shadow and a small pocket of a beautiful simple story unfolds in front of me.

I reach into the front pocket of my work backpack where the Uncle Larry SX-70 sits, and I lean out, and the familiar "whuh-whirrr" spits out the frame.

I deftly snag it, and put it safely in the box in my backpack and feel the trip might be worth the anxiety. I hit play and @itspetergabriel 's new song "Road To Joy" starts...and I can't wait to wake up.

(Carley on the left, me on the right.)

Today was a lot of fun. I was suppose to go to the beach, but we opted for a pool day instead. We spent the day in my back-yard, and it was great. I've never posted any pictures that I've taken with my Fujifilm instax 200, but i really liked these so i decided to post them. Maybe I'll scan/post some more later. Off to go pic up 2 rolls of film i just got developed! hopefully they come out goood!

P.S. last weekend I got a 24-inch imac and it looks so beautiful in my room. I love it sooo much! AND I GOT A PRO ACCOUNT TODAY! YAY! (:

I recently read a article on Facebook about various people around the world trying to define Love. Something that every single person will feel in their lives in a variety of ways but never really know what it is. What made the article interesting was not one single person gave the same answer but somehow their versions just fitted. Like it just made complete sense to me.

In the article was a wedding photographer from the USA and he said that Love was his business and how he could feel it when he arrived at a job. I found that so inspiring to think that people can just sense it.

Its crazy how love works, it could be attached to people, possessions and places. It can be strong yet breakable. it can be so freeing yet constricting. It can change your whole life yet keep you holding on to what you have. What makes it even crazier is that it never belongs to you! someone or something else holds it for you, at any moment it could be let go and lost forever.

I had fun making this image, to me it sums up Love and hopefully people can relate when they see it. If you have read this far, let me know how you define Love. Im interested to know :)

Picturesque floating houses at Fisherman's Wharf, Victoria, BC, Canada.

Just around the corner from Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Fisherman’s Wharf is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. This unique marine destination offers food kiosks, unique shops and eco-tour adventures amongst fishing vessels, pleasure boats with live-aboard residents, float homes, and commercial businesses.

The eastern end of Fisherman’s Wharf is populated largely by float homes. The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority has set aside 33 berths designated for floating residences.

Routine morning check on the neural pads floating on the surface of the Alignment Tank.

Ok, I have no idea what is going on here, besides someone hovering over some weird tech stuff in a pink lake. I don't think I did a good job with pink base; it needs to be contained within a shape (square or circle, etc) or Photoshopped so that it fills the frame better and I ran outta dark pink bricks. Also there needs to be more black pads thingies. I want to try to fix the pink base by squaring it up and see if it looks nicer.

I struggle with cool speeder bikes but ugly floater bikes I can do! Anyways, a fun experiment.

A good ole relaxing day at the lake.
