The real beagle on the float won the big Eukanuba National Dog Show earlier that week. He was requiring a lot of handling to keep him on the pedastal.

yep. It's been done, but her veil was just so darn pretty I had to do this shot. After capturing it, she said, "OH! I always wanted that kind of shot! " Who knew?!

Shoalway has been a major parting in filling in Bramley Moore Dock in Liverpool for the new planned Everton stadium. She has been pumping sand through a floating pipeline into the dock. She can rainbow, dump it using doors in her bottom or pump it through a pipeline.

The original floats were found by Paul's wife whilst they were honeymooning on the beaches of North Uist - they are so realistic that you want to reach out to touch them!

Word around town was that Arnold was going to come down and actually man this M60 machine gun (and maybe even fire off a few rounds), but I guess the grease paint plugged up his pours and he couldn't make it.
I rather like the contrast between the jaunty "El Burrito Jr." restaurant in the background and the silhouetted Weapon O' Death.
There was actually a lot of military hardware on display, including a Comanche helicopter that my mom helped decorate.
Why all the military hardware? No, not because we admire Soviet Style, but because Seal Beach is home to the Joint Forces Training base as well as the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. (Too bad the Navy couldn't spare a destroyer to push down main street - I would have stuck around to see that!)
