A situação dos aeroportos no Brasil hoje é de tal forma caótica que cenas como esta que registrei em setembro do ano passado em Florianópolis no dia 29 de setembro (mesmo dia em que caiu o avião da Gol quando morreram 154 pessoas), merecem ser registradas...profundamente lamentável que tragédias como a que aconteceu ontem em S.Paulo estejam ocorrendo com certa freqüência por negligência das autoridades...
The situation of the airports in Brazil today is in such a way chaotic that scenes as this that I registered in September/29/2006 in Florianópolis (SC) (in the same day that an airplane of Gol Airlines fell when 154 people had died), they deserve to be registered… deeply lamentable that tragedies as the one who happened yesterday in S.Paulo are occurring with certain frequency for recklessness of the authorities…

The first capitol building of Utah was built in Filmore, but it was only used for that purpose for one year. Later the Salt Lake City Council Hall served as meeting place for the legislature. The statehood was granted to Utah in 1896.
The Salt Lake City and County Building served as the capitol building until 1916, the year when the present building was finished.
The Capitol, which is 404 feet (123 m) long, 240 feet (73 m) wide was built between 1912 and 1916. The granite of the building and the copper of the dome are both from Utah. An extensive and expansive reconstruction took place between 2004 and 2008.
In the movie Legally Blonde 2 Utah State Capitol was used for exterior and interior shots of the U.S. Capitol.

The Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka recently got some new animals - cotton-top Tamarins.
Up to the 1980s, the Cottontop Tamarin was thought to occur from Costa Rica south to northern Colombia. By 1992 it could be found only in northern Colombia. Significant exports for biomedical research contributed to the Cottontop Tamarin's decline in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Currently, deforestation is the greatest threat. - WIkipedia

Thought I'd give fill in flash a try. Same little owl as before but it sat on a hedge for 10 minutes giving me the chance to try out a few different techniques. Dusk had fallen and the owl didn't care anything for cars. So taken from across the road using a speedlight with fill in flash.
