Essa minha foto é bem antiga, eu coloquei aqui porque era a única que eu tinha por enquanto que eu estivesse na foto. Na verdade há vários''adeus'' nessa foto, primeiro adeus ano velho, porque foi tirada no ano novo, depois adeus velho visual, já que agora eu estou com o cabelo curto e sem franjinha e por último: adeus flickr ):
eu queria agradecer a todo mundo por tudo, vocês realmente me fizeram crescer bastante, mas como eu disse no twitter preciso deixar o flickr. Eu não irei excluir e quem sabe até eu ainda poste algumas fotos de vez em quando mas provavelmente não poderei mas falar com vocês.

I came across these two girls having a wonderful time sitting in the water of a ford. As you can see they were wet through and the fact that they were half an hour from home, with no towel or dry clothes didn't seem to matter one bit. The warm sunshine had clearly gone to their heads!

I was pretty much blown away to learn that Tricia got some fantastic deal from some website out of NYC (Tricia, please tell us in your comment what website that was!) to buy this camera and lens that could be called a 'monster cam'. Something like buying a personal truck. Some people buy little ones. And some people buy BIG ones. Or like an Elephant gun. Some people shoot little things, other people need an Elephant gun because they will be hunting Elephants. This is a mega powerful camera and lens set up and I'm secretly lusting after her equipment. I know, I know, we are not supposed to do that, but hey, I'm only human!
After our balloon flight flickr meet we all went to Tricia's house, we checked out her pet chickens and we heard Moira comment that Tricia should know the exact time to the second that it take her coffee to brew because doesn't everyone know that?
So then when the day was done and we were about to leave Tricia says, "Wait! I didn't show you my new camera!" So she goes and pulls out this monster cam and my jaw dropped to the floor, and I still can't believe it! I'm very happy for her to have this mega powerful latest greatest high end Nikon pro DSLR and lens.
Tricia, we really should get together for some more flickr meet photo shoots so we can help each other out on how to use all this expensive camera gear we have. My D300 is VERY similar to your D700 it seems almost impossible to master every possible function and feature these cams are capable of. So if we work together a little bit perhaps we can share some photo taking tips and techniques to get the most out of our equipment.
I'm very often in Temecula on weekend mornings, Sat and Sun at Sunrise so maybe you could come over there. And besides, Temecula is such a scenic area especially in wine country where we do the flights, and especially at that sunrise time of day. I could show you how to get some unbelievable shots I think with your cam and Lens on the launch field at sunrise perhaps.
But never forget that it is the person and the technique they use that gets great shots, NOT the camera.

Calanda celebró desde el viernes 21 al domingo 23 de marzo 2014, la XXIX Edición de las Jornadas Nacionales de Exaltación del Tambor y el Bombo. El pregonero fue el cantautor Luis Eduardo Aute
Estas jornadas se celebran cada año en uno de los 22 pueblos que conforman el Consorcio Nacional de los Pueblos del Tambor, integrado por localidades de cinco Comunidades Autónomas dónde la Semana Santa se centra en el toque del tambor y el bombo, y que son las siguientes: los nueve pueblos turolenses que a su vez constituyen la Ruta del Tambor y el Bombo --Albalate del Arzobispo, Alcañiz, Alcorisa, Andorra, Calanda, Híjar, La Puebla de Híjar, Samper de Calanda y Urrea de Gaén; la ciudad de Teruel, Valderrobres, Alagón y Fuentes de Ebro, también de Aragón; las localidades valencianas de L'Alcora y Alzira; Baena, de Andalucía; Moratalla, Jumilla y Mula, de la Región de Murcia; y Agramón, Hellín y Tobarra de Castilla-La Mancha.A la cita, cuyo principal objetivo es el hermanamiento entre las 22 localidades con una cultura común, se esperan más de 1.500 participantes que durante todo el fin de semana harán sonar sus tambores y bombos por todas las calles de la población.Desde el Ayuntamiento de Calanda se lleva más de un año trabajando en la organización de las Jornadas, que comenzarán esta tarde con el pregón de Luis Eduardo Aute.Luis Eduardo Aute guarda una estrecha relación con el pueblo de Calanda y ha colaborado en varias ocasiones con el Centro 'Luis Buñuel'. También ha dedicado la canción 'Allí (un perro Calandaluz)' a Buñuel y al pueblo de Calanda en su último trabajo 'Intemperie', CAPITAL DEL TAMBOR Y EL BOMBO. Calanda se convierte estos días en la capital del tambor y el bombo. El acto central de las Jornadas tendrá lugar el sábado por la noche, en el que, emulando el acto de Romper la Hora que todos los años se celebra en el mediodía de Viernes Santo en Calanda, los cientos de tamborileros convocados en la Plaza de España romperán el silencio haciendo tocar al unísono sus tambores y bombos, para dar lugar posteriormente a una larga noche de redobles.La Comarca del Bajo Aragón, la Diputación de Teruel y el Gobierno de Aragón colaboran económicamente en la celebración de las Jornadas y se prevé una importante repercusión económica en la localidad, sobre todo en el sector de la hostelería y restauración, así como en los comercios de la población.Las Jornadas de Calanda se celebran en el que puede ser el año más importante para el Consorcio de los Pueblos del Tambor desde su fundación, hace más de 30 años, ya que será el año en el que las tamborradas de los pueblos que lo integran obtengan el reconocimiento de Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad por parte de la UNESCO.

This is Cooper again. He's the "New Guy" still since there hasn't been any hiring at the Firehall for a long time. He is the only one that will let me take his photo at work.
This started out with just testing out my new pogo stylus that turns my trackpad into a tablet. Works really well for a small fraction of what a real tablet costs. I used to have a Wacom tablet and this does the same as it without a doubt. Check it out below.

As for photo faults, powerlines etc. I was lazy. It didn't start out as being a Flickr candadite but here we are now.

Hi.
I have recently heard that one of my contacts found some of his (especially high resolutioned) pics were stolen and sold as a postcard in his own country, or some other products in the US with somebody else's name(s). It is a sort of luck that he found it out (he was informed by his contacts!) otherwise he would not know anything but only his pics were out globally.
What do you think?
It's OLD and NEW and EVER-PRESENT problem in this Flickr world (I know it would not be in only the Flickr though) and the Flickr is the easiest platform for pic thieves.
Once you upload something in the webs, you should, maybe, prepare for the possibility that it could be stolen but it is really sad and discouraging. I would like to know if you are doing anything against it and what it is. Thanks in advance.
BTW the contact is now thinking to quit Flickr, or even, quit photography itself.
