Well here he is the new lord of the embankment.
This appears to be a new bird, as I am reliably informed that last years male wasn't ringed.
This was one of my first shots of him, as he flew along the road side fence posts.
Lady luck was certainly shining on us. The male owls don't tend to be as vibrant as their female counterparts, but a little touch of early morning sun, brings out his colours beautifully.
That's all three of the days owls posted, but there's plenty more pics to come.

so, i know i haven't really been making an effort with you lately, and i apologise for that:)
however, i do have some quite acceptable reasons:
1. i've been sick. which isn't fun at all.
2. i have my lifesaving exam tomorrow which i'm now prepared for.
3. i have school exams in about a week - which i am totally NOT prepared for.
4. i've been feeling a little bit uninspired and unoriginal.

Had a weekend off Flickr and got struck down by a vomiting bug. Yeugh! Still not right.
But I will survive.
Flickr on Firefox is still not working for me. I have my iPhone account on that browser and my main Flickr account on Chrome. I cannot delete or edit photos and the K key does not work for me.
Thanks to all who responded to my blog post. Appreciate it a lot. The best thing about Flickr is the community. Thanks!

La carretera de Palenque a San Cristóbal de las Casas, en Chiapas, está llena de pequeñas poblaciones que ofrecen fruta y artesanías a los viajeros. Son muy comunes las pequeñas casas de madera con colores muy intensos, como en este caso. Cualquiera pensaría que en ese domicilio vive un adicto al flickr :))))
