My interpretation for the HighFidelity challenge. I wanted to show a speaker whilst capturing the sound element; I used a glass of water to show the movement of sound waves through the water. I decided to blend a shot of a speaker cone to the bottom of the glass to reinforce the theme.

A Blockbuster movie is made with a large budget and big stars. A true Blockbuster is extremely popular and brings in a lot of money.*

The #FlickrFriday #RingTheBell challenge
Bells have been used for centuries to attract attention, such as ye olde town criers spreading the news, or as here, in cases of emergency.
This is a model of an old fire appliance (not a British one judging from the strange place they've put the steering wheel) placed in front of a log fire, photographed and processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. The assemblage was painted with torchlight for about 5 seconds rather than illuminated with flash, which would have caused over exposure and cast harsh shadows. A 30 second exposure was used to maximise the flames
