Boa noite gente!

Another of my favourite dresses. Combined with the hair and shoes, the dress felt very '20s (that's the 1920s!) so it had to be matched with nude stockings, not my usual black tights. Stick a feather in a head band on and I think I could have blended in a 20s Chicago jazz club
Missy will soon chase Flash away from her while she goes off to give birth to the next generation ... I am very interested in watching the dynamics this year as Flash has travelled with Missy and her 2 twins that are now 2 year olds and possibly pregnant themselves ... could be a big family group joining together in late summer this year!
I used a point and shoot camera (CanonA640) to shoot this BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE.
F=8 because Auto Focus is useless on these fellows. Now he's always in focus.
This proved that you don't need an expensive SLR for small bird flight shots.
very near the prime
these reaching toward
their glory ...
Indian Summer holds
such splendor ...
let me return for a moment
or two before the capture of winter

If it wasn't for the orange in the background, I would've skipped shooting this flower since I'd just posted one like it. But the color is amazing, so here it is.
Camera used: Tower One-Twenty Flash (a 1950s box camera made in Chicago and sold by Sears)

Heavy showers were a feature of the afternoon of 12th July across East Anglia. East Midlands Trains Class 158 No. 158774 arrives at Thetford with the 11:52 Liverpool Lime Street – Norwich service during one such shower.
