I will put some more pics tomorrow but wanted to share this. They are just awesome!

Boston street sign. I used Snapseed, PicsArt, and Stackables on this cell phone photo.

Captured this photo on my Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. lens.

Are we all still doing this? Happy Flash Yer Fur Friday! :)

Macro Mondays theme: Monday, September 18th theme - then and now, before and after, yesterday and today...

Tried a few things for this theme after rumaging through my little box of memorabilia - ie "STUFF" - my biggest problem was to get into the "3-inch rule" limit. Had to use a ruler to make sure I cropped to the 3" limit.

This image has a my old iPhone, an older flash and something you may not recognize - a disposable Flash Cube. These compact little pieces were developed in the 1960's by Kodak for their Instamatic series of cameras and with an adapter you could actually use them on SLR's. I tried to include the adapter, but couldn't get it in because of the 3" rule.

Happy Macro Monday to all ...

...Gennaio 2018, casa...

As it was snowing quite a bit today, I decided to play with the Yongnuo YN685 as I don't do a lot of flash photography.

I grabbed the turkey feathers that I gathered over the summer and grabbed a shot of them bouncing the flash off the ceiling at 1/32 power.

Thank you for visiting my little space here on Flickr.

Images taken while on lock down in my self made home studio using items in my house.

The Flash's of the various generations! L to R we have Impulse (Bart Allen), Kid Flash (Wally West), Flash (Wally West), Flash (Jay Garrick), and Flash (Barry Allen)

Something I hope to do more of this coming summer. There's just something about the sheer power of a storm. This shot was taken last summer.

Long exposure, flash and continuous light with camera movement.

2 YN560II at 1/64 at 2 and 11 o'clock

Self portrait testing flash on top

Second attempt at off camera flash with 7d. Black background seems to be much harder than white and I had to play with the levels in Lightroom to avoid shadows. Two flashes - 430 EX II as fill flash at 3 o'oclock and one Yn 568 at 7 oclock and elevated. Had to hide the 7d pre flash as it was causing a reflection.
