A clearer picture of Christo's The Flash from the Lego Super Heroes videogame. This is an excellent minifig...probably the best one he has made so far in my opinion, along with Cad Bane in second place.

I built this a year ago (almost to the day!) in preparation for a public display, then the show got cancelled and I never got around to posting it. I think it is my tallest build to date, standing at around 47cm (18.5 inches).

Also check my build of Ming's shuttle from the same movie!

This hen escapes the chicken enclosure every day, but doesn't go far. She may be resting the other leg or trying to conserve heat. I lured her back inside by opening the door and throwing some chicken scratch inside.

Finally managed to catch a lightning shot!

We had Omega Mart staff take a flash photo, which we probably shouldn't have.

So, they say that as the sun takes its last drop into the sea there

is a "Green Flash" at the very last moment. I've never actually seen it, but I've heard from others that 'they' have. So I decided to take a shot just as it dipped below the surface, just to see if my camera would pick up anything. Well, I do see a slight touch of green; it really wasn't very big, or bright, or flashy...but I'm going to count it! LOL Thanks for looking.

The green flash is an optical phenomenon that you can see shortly after sunset or before sunrise. It happens when the sun is almost entirely below the horizon, with the barest edge of the sun – the upper edge – still visible. For a second or two, that upper rim of the sun will appear green in color. It’s a brief flash of the color green – the legendary green flash. It’s really quite exciting to see, especially if you’ve been looking for one. Get out there & look for one yourself!

....long gamma flashes with a duration of more than two seconds and up to several minutes, on the other hand, are the result of a supernova. Some of the energy released drives a shock wave that travels at nearly the speed of light
