Flash is growing up quickly now that fall is upon us ... she needs to fatten up for the long, hard winter ahead .. so far so prefers the natural food to the apples her momma loves!

Technically speaking, Captain Boomerang is part of The Flash's rogues gallery, however has appeared in Batman comics fighting the Dark Knight, so fits in to this project.
Secretly the illegitimate son of an American soldier and an Australian woman, George "Digger" Harkness was raised in poverty, during which time he developed great skill in making boomerangs, and in using them as weapons. As a young adult, he was hired as a performer and boomerang promoter by a toy company which was, unbeknownst to him, owned by his biological father. Audiences ridiculed him, and a resentful Harkness turned to using his boomerangs for crime.

Here's a couple of experiments I was trying out with a backflash on my hand...interesting effects...now for a much more powerful flash unit!
Found an old flash in me father's cupboard, a 'Sunpak SP-140" it's called, I like the fact it's nice and compact to use with the LC-A beside the usual Coloursplash flash, mind you it's a lots more powerful than the coloursplash flash, thought it take bloody age to reload.

My name is Barry Allen. And I am the fastest man alive. An accident put me in a coma and when I woke up I had super speed. I work under the name of “The Flash”

5 months. 5 months I have been the Flash and 5 months I have known Oliver Queen. Now he is dead. Murdered. His partner Roy Harper has now taken Oliver's place as the Green Arrow. So now here I am at is funeral with the other members of the Justice League. I am the newest member to the Justice League next to Cyborg. I was looking around for Oliver's sister Emiko but I couldn't find her. After the funeral I ran. I ran away from the madness right now I am focused on finding my mom’s killer. I have been working on the case for a while now but since oliver's death it reminded me of it. I get back to the lab. Clean up my desk grab the stuff I need and go. I run home and work on the case for a bit. I have heard a name drop before around my mom’s case “Thawne” that's the name I have been looking into. I don't have a lead.
“There must be a Thawne so where in this world!” I say to myself. I get an alert. Armed robbery. I get up and run to my newly designed suit. Put it on and I ran. When I get there, no one is around. I mean absolutely no one. The police weren't even here yet. No civilians, nothing. Weird I think to myself. I run around the premises. Nothing but one note. It said “Haha, to slow! For everything.”
“Hey, you!” I turn. The police just arrived.
“Sir we have been seeing you around recently. What do you have in police matter. And what's with the get up?”
“Flash! Call me The Flash!” I run. Making my mark there. Making sure they know who I am. And hopefully spread the word.
Throughout the past few days I have been all over T.V. New superhero in town! The super speed man known as The Flash. I smile to myself.
“Barry! Hey Barry!” I turn around to see a woman. Iris West to be exact.
“Hi Barry” she says. Iris West is a friend of mine. She is a reporter. She probably has a question about The Flash or something.
“Do you know anything about this Flash?”
I smile to myself…

Just playing around with my flash a little. Again I placed it below the flower in question and set it to 1/16th of the power. I kind of like how the flower seems to glow from within combined with the soft focus of this one. I had to crop it down quite a bit though due to rushing the composition while setting this one up.

2014 Weekly Alphabet Challenge, Week 31, F is for Flash
I was hoping all week to catch a flash of lightning, but alas no thunderstorms where we were , not even last night. I did take pictures of husband's kilt flashes, but they come in pairs, you can't have one kilt 'flash'. So I decided to try capture the camera's flash in the mirror. Not having a masking filter, that makes for rather ghostly pictures. Some fiddling with levels and gradient filters gave this result, a different kind of selfie :-)
