This is a National Recreation Area which spans the borders of Wyoming and Utah.
As you drive towards the enormous artificial lake which was formed by the impressive Flaming Gorge Dam you pass through some wonderful geological formations.
The area gets its name from the red rock.
Driving through this area is like driving through a 3D Geography text book!
Not sure of the real name of the piece, but the closest thing to an actual Flaming Lotus I've seen yet from FLG.

The Flaming Lips closed out day 2 of Rifflandia 2012 at Royal Athletic Park with quite possibly the best concert I've ever seen.
This extremely rare (joking) Ford pickup was parked in two spaces at the far end of the McDonald's parking lot in Blue Earth, MN. I didn't think I'd cause trouble by pointing out the first thing that "flaming" brings to mind to someone who grew up in the Minneapolis area....
