Some photos from a band a few of my friends are in. They are sound better then they think they do. Shot with a 45mm tilt-shift with a little tilt. Taken at the Avon Theater in the Lakeview section of Birmingham.

Lighting: Alienbees B800 on light stand with clearly visible pocket wizard hanging from the light. Light at 1/2 power pointed pretty much into the lens.

This is a National Recreation Area which spans the borders of Wyoming and Utah.

As you drive towards the enormous artificial lake which was formed by the impressive Flaming Gorge Dam you pass through some wonderful geological formations.

The area gets its name from the red rock.

Driving through this area is like driving through a 3D Geography text book!

The dam makes the water temperature below it pretty constant year round. This seems to make bugs pretty happy ... and what makes bugs happy makes the fish feasting on them even happier. This place is really the Disneyland of fishing. You just have to look down and see dozens of trouts roaming around.
