Was not really possible to get the good sun without the high tension wire tower. I have passed this for almost 20 yrs promising myself I would stop tp get the pic. About a week ago, I followed up. I never go by when I don't imagine what it would be like to buy it and fix it up.

I'm always amazed by how even the ugliest subject can look incredibly beautiful when viewed at just the right angle... and in just the right light! There is hope for me yet! ;)
I'd really like to thank Daleen and Schalk Engelbrecht for inviting me to waffle-on about my fun-times while photographing the Knysna forests at your George Camera Club's AGM last night... and for accommodating me in your amazing Fancourt home! Your generosity during the past 24 hours was appreciated more than you could ever imagine! Thanks also for showing me some really cool stuff today, most of which I would probably never have found by myself. Like this stunning little fix-me-upper in the tiny, miniscule (no-horse) town called "Herold"... which I never even knew existed before today!?
Just a touch of plaster and a lick of paint... then this scene would to be perfect... right?
Nope... in my opinion... this scene is absolutely perfect exactly as it is!

Today I did some cleaning and prepping for my room to be painted and for my new wood floors to be placed in. I'm so excited! I love redecorating and my room is over-do for a makeover. I also started on my summer homework and went to the library to check out some summer reading novels.

Enjoying the sunshine and hoping to get a 'clicker fix' I got a full shot of this adorable skunk that wasn't lying in the middle of the road but was enjoying the sunshine also.
I have to admit that when I got out of the car it must have startled him/her, it raised it's tail, turned around, and sprayed. It was too far away and the wind was blowing away from me, but I could smell the scent...then it completely ignored me as it found a place to lay in the sun and take a nap...lol

In the boiler shop at Union Pacific’s Downing B. Jenks Shop at North Little Rock, Arkansas, is a welder (boilermaker by trade) carefully repairing a snow plow on May 19, 2015.
One of the best features about this little fixer upper in Oysterville, Washington is that the neighbors should be fairly quite, it's next door to towns the graveyard.
