Argh! Nicht aufregen ... alles ganz normal ...

My flickr pro gonna be expired in ..3 days. ^^
A little bit sad, it feel like letting my memories go..
Once again, a new year comes.
2011. Year of losing , reaching and also having someone, something new.
And ending messed up, too.
Since December was not so nice to me,
2012, please fix it:)

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse...

Was not really possible to get the good sun without the high tension wire tower. I have passed this for almost 20 yrs promising myself I would stop tp get the pic. About a week ago, I followed up. I never go by when I don't imagine what it would be like to buy it and fix it up.
well there's not a lot for you to give,
if you're giving in,
and there's not a lot for you to feel,
if you're not feeling it..
Mr Fix-it-all, sitting in a courtyard, he was reparing umbrellas and bikes - seen in Bukhara Uzbekistan.
An old pioneer homestead ages gracefully in the heat of the Columbia River Gorge's plateau.

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Today I did some cleaning and prepping for my room to be painted and for my new wood floors to be placed in. I'm so excited! I love redecorating and my room is over-do for a makeover. I also started on my summer homework and went to the library to check out some summer reading novels.
Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday<3
ps. Sorry for doing this pose so much. I think it is my comfort pose- I just always resort back to it.
Enjoying the sunshine and hoping to get a 'clicker fix' I got a full shot of this adorable skunk that wasn't lying in the middle of the road but was enjoying the sunshine also.
I have to admit that when I got out of the car it must have startled him/her, it raised it's tail, turned around, and sprayed. It was too far away and the wind was blowing away from me, but I could smell the scent...then it completely ignored me as it found a place to lay in the sun and take a nap...lol
I came across this historic but dilapidated house on Main Street in downtown Boonsboro, Maryland and was rather mesmerized
by the layers in the northern exterior wall. Stonework, brick and exterior-grade plaster or stucco are the main components that protected this home or its business occupants from the weather and the dangers outdoors. And, at least on this north side, facing the busiest street in town, all of the wall components are deteriorating and exposing themselves before our eyes.
Much of the Route 40 and alternate Route 40 corridor in Maryland was a major east coast road that led from east to west over the Appalachian Mountains to points westward, beginning in the early days of the country. Now a-days, the two roads are paved for auto traffic and feature historic homes built alongside them, homes and businesses anywhere from 100 to 200 years old, many on the historic register and some serving as emergency hospitals during the Civil War. Antietam, Gettysburg
and Sharpsburg, the site of Civil War battles, are in the general vicinity.
Many of the homes have been majorly and marvelously restored to their former grandeur over time. This one is still waiting for an inspired owner and a qualified engineer. Hopefully that, and not the wrecking crew.
Storm clouds closing in on the Seattle area.
Reminded me of the Beatles song; Fixing a hole.
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in And stops my mind from wandering.. Where it will go.
After weeks of mulling it over in my mind I figured out my mini peg board. My husband suggested the graph paper to keep it straight, attach to cardboard for structure, attach grommets then add styrofoam backing and organize tools pushing wire into the strofoam to secure. Happy Father's Day, off to get ready for Sunday brunch.
Dr. Fix-it? Sounds too much like Mr. Wizard.
Am not sure what this impulse is, the need to use it up, wear it out, recycle it when possible. This it the third time I've mended these jeans, as obvious by the half-hearted stitching still visible.
I promise, in order to keep from looking too much like the shabby academic I am, that the third is the final time I'll patch a garment.
