As you can see, this multi-tenant birdhouse appears to need a bit of renovation work. I can understand how the wood could deteriorate due to age, but I am wondering how the metal railings could have gotten bent this way. The house is mounted at the top of a pole in a local park and is probably 12-15 feet off the ground.

And since I have computer problems , I just hope I will be able to publish my picture today. If you are reading this: we are ok lol Luckily for me, my husband is an awesome computer buff so he should be able to fix this in no time. But right now, I feel like this tiny yellow paper boat navigating on the ocean of unknown words and concepts … But I agree with everything my super intelligent (and very charming !!) Husband is saying…. He is like the Captain of the yellow paper ship, navigating on the red ocean of computer emergencies, while I’m drinking my gin and tonic and eating Nutella like a Canadian bear before hibernation….
My tiny boat is not even 1cm long and my book has a red tainted pages (which I love very much !!) and that is the reason I got it in the first place (I dont even know the title lol ).
So, I hope you will like this picture, because a lot of effort was put just to publish it lol

We actually talked to the property owner who said he is going to fix it. I doubt it can be done, it's like a life-size jigsaw puzzle. Rural ND.
You reach a point where the only way to fix a situation that continually hurts you or offends you in some way, is to simply walk away.
Not just from people, but places also. The end of an era and new beginnings.
That time has come, not always easy especially when you have cared deeply for others and all that you have created.
There is no malice, there are no regrets.
I will remember the wonderful memories, not the trials instead learn from them.

Built in the 1840s, Fort Wayne, in southwest Detroit, has a rich history, but efforts to restore the 96-acre complex have faltered over the years due to a scarcity of funds. While the historic fort itself is maintained by community volunteers, other buildings on the property have fallen into terrible disrepair. The duplexes shown here, which once housed enlisted men and their families, are examples.
But perhaps there is still hope. Michigan's Economic Development Corp. recently commissioned a $235,000 study on revitalizing the fort, and there has been a recent idea floated to make the site into a National Park, which would open federal funding to restore the property.

If you have been to North Dakota before, you have seen these old houses all over the place. If only these houses could talk...
The windows on unused barns are often the first thing that gets broken, either through neglect or vandalism by visiting city cousins. Decisions to keep up or not keep up with repairs on an aging barn are often made by default. Usefulness, even with our own bodies, many times dictates what gets repaired or ignored.
