I originally received this Fitbit in December 2010. It's been with me for roughly 5 million steps and 3,000 miles. And it looks like it.

Evaluating competitors... :-)
In May of 2013, Fitbit released the Fitbit Flex, which is a device that one wears on the wrist. It tracks movement 24 hours a day, including sleep patterns. It has a simple display of 5 LED lights and has almost all the same sync functions as the Fitbit One and Zip. Compared to the One, the altimeter has been removed. The Flex is also the first water-resistant tracker; it can be worn while showering and swimming. www.fitbit.com/flex
Fitbit ONE je univerzálny bezdrôtový tracker typu všetko v jednom. Sleduje Vašu aktivitu - spálené kalórie, prejdenú vzdialenosť, počet krokov. Vstavaný výškomer meria aj počet prejdených schodov. V noci sleduje kvalitu Vášho spánku. Namerané údaje prenáša prostredníctvom technológie Bluetooth Smart (BT 4.0) do počítača, mobilu alebo tabletu. www.synetics.sk/fitbit-one.html

Awesome!
You've earned the Sahara badge
You've walked 2,983 miles! That's more than the length of the Sahara Desert, which stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea. Congratulations on making it over this huge hump and securing the Sahara badge.
Got myself a rather fancy new scale the other day.
I'm rather skinny, so it's not like I need to lose weight or anything. But I do want to keep an eye on body fat % and perhaps even gain a few pounds (while making sure the gain is muscle not fat.) So this is why I decided to finally get a scale.
I went with the Fitbit Aria, because it's super cool. It'll figure out body fat % and is wi-fi enabled for uploading the stats to their site for cool graphing and BMI calculation. Plus, it's just a really slick looking scale.
