I was just going through my Fitbit activity list this week and noticed that working out in the garden after work in Tuesday and Wednesday were automatically categorizesd as an Aerobic Workout... and mostly in Fat Burning zone to boot!... I did do alot those two days when I was weeding, pulling out rocks and adding mulch to my garden paths... Lots of lifting (cement pavers), squatting, etc... On a side note, this made me think of my Mom. I think gardening kept. Her healthy, both physically and mentally. When did I become this competitive? When did I feel like I needed to be #1??
I took this screen shot because today all I wanted to do is beat someone named "Virginia" who is in a "Workweek Hustle" with me on Fitbit. I'm not sure this is healthy for me.
On the other hand, it did get me out of bed early this morning and I did run 6.5 miles before 6am. The rest of the steps were done during a walk with the dog and just doing my job and walking around school as much as I do.
