We have known Basil since he was only a few weeks old, as he used to be stabled at a farm we used to holiday at. However, he has moved on, and we now stay in other places, but we have found out over the last few years where he now shares a paddock with Joey (who occasionally came to visit him at the farm). Remarkably, they still know our voices, and it was good to see them both again fit and healthy...(and keen on carrot treats)

With her end-of-day servicing complete, Boothbay Railway Village's Henschel #6 gingerly backs into the museum's little engine shed, adjacent to the Thorndike Station. The 6 joins sister Henschel #7, which was parked in the back of this structure when the photo was taken. As I watched this operation, it occurred to me that the clearance between the top of the stack on this engine and the roof of the doorway was probably not more than an inch or two.
Incidentally, Boothbay Railway Village now has a 3rd engine which is operable, and this time, it's an American Baldwin industrial saddle-tanker. The little SD Warren #2 completed it's multi-year restoration just days before my visit. In fact, the ceremony to introduce her to the public took place just the day before this photo was taken. I was hoping to see her in steam this day, but alas, the museum only had one engineer who was trained on her, and he was not working this day. :(

my mother in march 1968 with the local keep-fit group.
taken at the victoria rooms in bristol. this is cropped from a larger image, which has the evening post ref number 52703/3/6 on the back. the 6 is smudged and could be a letter but i think it could hint at a missing 8.
Doesn't really fit this image, of an old & stooped woman returning home from the market, but I still love the song....

Here is some epic video I shot at the same time as the stills with the Sony Alpha NEX 6 camera with the 50 mm F/1.8 prime lens for nex6 e mount cameras bracketed to my Nikon D800E (cool bokeh!):

With the black 45surf surfboard! It gets hot in the sand in the sun! Wearing a leather Buffalo Nickel Cowboy Hat! :)
Combine the shallow-depth-of-field with Sony NEX-6's latest face-tracking auto focus, and you can see how the moving video keeps the model's pretty blue eyes in focus, while blurring the background! The Sony Alpha NEX 6 has much better bokeh than the cameras I have been using! :)
She was tall, thin, fit, toned, defined, and beautiful!

Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:
herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!
Reading some of the Great Books of Hero's Journey Mythology! Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, Melville's Moby Dick, and Shakespeare's Hamlet!

Almost 7 years ago. Was looking for a picture of the eagle above the garage door. Not too much snow that early February but I could fit my Fit in the garage. Not any more.
Over the course of the past twenty-four hours I spent everyway up and down to figure out how to make this image work to present to you; the viewer from a professional standpoint. At last I said "forget it". I wanted to go for a shot that was out of the ordinary and was different in its own light and manner; and well...I believe I've found it. The picture isn't about the two trains, or the historic diamond, or the fact that there is a crowd of railfans behind, beside and in front of me. Its the fact of 40 crazy men and woman decided to go out and make the best out of a bleak morning in a not so wonderful neighborhood, and spent the time with the things we loved the most; our trains.
To me this shot says a lot more. In the fog the world takes on a surreal appearance and disposition than to reality on a bight summer day. It takes on an edge that can be deadly and that can also be played with. During this shot the fog actually lifted, the cab-car which was leading this train was engulfed in it and in four short car lengths it lifted just enough to capture the nose of the locomotive being pushed out of frame with a waiting UP local is revealed behind it. Behind that tank car on the local the rest of the train disappeared into the abyss which is California's famed Tule Fog - noted for its deadly denseness which costs many lives every year.
While this shot may not be what everyone wants it to be, and it may not be vivid or artful or even meaningful it speaks magnitudes to me. The railroad still pushes onward - even when it can't see. Now that...is cool!

With lockdown lasting seemingly for ever and to add to that my recent injury where I fractured my ribs i'm surprised I haven't turned into a cough potato. But despite everything I keep reasonably active even if it's just going for a decent walk each day about half-an-hour. But I need to lose a couple of Kilos as some of my nicest clothes don't fit any more. So my big challenge this summer is to get fit lose some weight and have plenty of yummy sex lol. I well when I feel safe to tug pull and stretch I can start on all that housework and gardening I've been afraid to do.
I bring to you the AMORE FIT!! Come in many style options with the liberty of mix matching the skirts and tops....Comes for the sizes HG, LARA, ISIS, & FREYA!
