Sometimes it's really hard to capture the spirit of a place in a photo. When I struggle to capture that spirit, I try to remind myself to take a moment and ask myself how the place makes me feel. This canyon was pretty narrow and certainly made me feel closed in, but it was clear that there was no danger and the canyon would let me get where I was going. I tried to convey that feeling here. Not sure if it stuck, but I like the image never the less!

Well I've lost that first Kilo but even though I've lost a bit more I keep losing ground. It is hard work and especially as I like a glass of red wine at mealtime. But now the summer weather is almost here I can do a bit more walking and as you can see here I've a tight aerodynamic snazzy Kirklands top for when I go speeding off on my bike frightening away the pigeons..

The colour and texture of this dress are fabulous and I love the cute notch at the neckline. It's a body-hugging tight fit, even though it's supposed to be my normal size. When it's on, it feels great, but honestly it must have taken five minutes to wriggle out of it! That's way too long!
Loved this dress on the end-of-line sale rack, but there's a secret you cannot see. It's not actually zipped up all the way!
The zip is too tight and I can't go for a bigger size since this is the last one. Do I return it, or should I buy it and hope that it will magically ease off at home?
Yes, my friends, I bought it. You knew I would! I tried it on at the weekend and, with a little more time and patience, managed to work the zip right up. Once on, it is very comfortable and elegant, though it fits just a little too closely. Maybe I can let out the seams a touch to improve the fit and make it easier to put on.

It makes me feel like twirling to allow the skirt portion to expand. Doing so creates an illusion of a more narrow waist.
Here I am holding the skirt out to emphasize that effect.

Returning to Cornwall from Bristol I spotted GWR's 2+4 HST set crossing the Tamar into Saltash. I've been wondering for a while whether this would fit into the view of St Pinnock viaduct, which is gradually being consumed by tree growth. A dash along the A38 and an energetic climb confirmed that it does, but only just!

In contrast to the loose, floaty dress, this dress is a close fit everywhere. A slight stretch in the material makes it fit like a second skin, revealing every contour of the wearer.
By this time the assistants must have worked out my unusual chromasomes, but they did not seem to mind at all. I like to think that as I posed for Amanda to take this picture, I was publicly displaying the merchandise quite well, which could persuade the staff to overlook my incursion into their department.
I felt incredibly beautiful and sexy in this dress ... and then I spoilt the picture by blinking!
All my stuff is now piled into boxes, 3 months after half the house got trashed, the builders have finally arrived to replace the ceilings :) This is yesterday's photo, and is somewhat dull, I just liked the crazy sunlight that I couldn't go out in :( I had 3 months of exam work to do in a day. Great organisation skills obviously :p
