Monkfish curry, jeera rice and Vouvray.
NB no tomatoes or tamarind used. This is a curry with the aniseedy fennel as the base note. I suppose it’s my take on a fish korma. And some of you may have noticed I use parsley instead of coriander for my most of my Asian dishes, it’s because I have an aversion to the latter especially when it’s fresh. No oil or butter added to the rice because of one’s age and so on.

Dinner for 2: Before ER and I went out for shopping at Robinson; finally I have learnt messaging with a cell phone. I know it's no big deal but it was an exciting experience for me. The 1st message was sent out to Rika in the afternoon. Before and during this dinner, we still exchanged a few messages. What a joke...at one point, by the time I had written and sent out a message, ER had nearly finished his dinner!
Anyway, this shopping trip down to Ochard Road was a success and I have got what I needed with ER's help :)
