"I *meant* to do that!" Actually, I didn't. I was photographing the fish at the Atlantis Aquarium, and got a reflection of my friend in the process. (I know it's blurry, but I thought the effect was interesting anyway.)

Great kite day at Jockeys Ridge. This fish kite was part of a set of kites depicting an underwater scene.

Sable fish fillet with king oyster mushroom, honey and Thai black bean sauce.
A better presentation than in the past. It's good to see aesthetic changes don't take away from the great taste of the mildly sweet silky buttery flesh with the full bodied black bean sauce. A not to be missed course by fish lovers.
Queen Parrotfish, Ocean Surgeonfish, French Grunt, and Yellow Goatfish. Who needs Photoshop to paste them together when you get a lucky shot like this!

This is Sid, our new fish! Sid is a 2 year old Jewel Cichlid named after Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols, since Sid sounds a little like Cichlid (pronounced sick-lid) and since they have a reputation for being bad-tempered.
Our neighbors moved out and he needed a new home, so he moved into our
place. I've never had a fish before, so I'm trying very hard not to kill him. Wish him luck!
