A 15 Minute wait for the Stansted-Birmingham Train with a First Class single ticket. A compartment to ourselves and a complimentary cup of tea and biscuits from the very helpful trolley handler and a bottle of water for my wife.

The sumptuous interior of a preserved British Railways Mark 1 coach compartment at Sheringham Station on the heritage North Norfolk Railway in the County of Norfolk (UK).

The British Rail(ways) Mk1/Mk2 corridor compartment coaches are my favourite way to travel on any train.

These chairs together with their adjustable armrests are exceedingly comfortable.

This particular Brake Composite Corridor (BCK) coach E21103 was built at British Railways Swindon Works in 1956.

Some gnarly gruel. This is what they served Jonas in first class. I got the same in coach. There was also a small foil pouch labeled "vegetable product" to help ensure balanced nutrition. The contents looked like onions and smelled like butt.

That'll make the working flight go much better
