Pre-arrival milk and warm chocolate chip cookies is a nice touch for this Boston to Los Angeles flight.
Asiana Airlines First Class Pre-Arrival second meal from Los Angeles to Seoul Incheon: My choice was the Brochettes of filet and rice. Very tasty, it's not like airplane food at all ;)

Following the footstep of Thai Royal First Class at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Singapore Airlines' First Class passengers are now offered shuttle service to designated Airline Lounge from the Concierge desk near the immigration drop off.
During this particular trip, the Silverkris Lounge was currently closed for refurbishment, so First Class guests are offered to use alternative lounges at the United Club, Thai Royal Orchid Lounge and the Plaza Premium. I chose the United, and made the right choice as it was virtually empty and the whole space belonged to us the whole time. Food wise, the choice was rather limited if compared with Thai or Silverkris, but the quality was pretty good and the food tasted not too bad to my liking. There were creamy pasta, dim sum and even beef satay on offer. That is not bad at all, compared to most crap lounges in Europe that provided horrible food, or the lack of it.

I cannot imagine that the passengers using the lavatory aboard this Boeing 707 ever saw a Grumman Intruder bearing down upon them! This rare nose section of El Al's first Boeing jet is preserved at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.
Hello everyone from Paradise, hope all is well, just got here, off to find some interesting things, have a good week.
Lincoln to Nottingham – a Midland railway
A bit of First Class luxury on the Sprinter working home from Nottingham to Lincoln - tea & coffee was not on offer however. A short-lived respite from the Class 156 'cattle trucks'!
The Class 222 Meridian units normally work the semi-fast services between Nottingham and London St Pancras, alternating with the HSTs, so this was an unusual working. I had worked out the diagram from seeing the unit work the 13:29 to Lincoln, so treated myself to the third of four First Class journeys home that week!
For a few days this winter, all four of the ex-Hull 4-car units were pressed into service on local Sprinter workings between Leicester - Nottingham - Lincoln, much to the delight of regular passengers, some of whom indulged in the de-classified First Class coaches! There was a Sprinter shortage as a few units had been sent to Leeds Neville Hill for tyre turning (wheel flats - leaves on the line).
I spent two years as a commuter on the Lincoln – Nottingham line. The railway opened in 1846 and was the first line into Lincoln, running into St Mark’s station. Although the modern railway seems somewhat soulless, I have tried to capture some pleasing moments from my many months of commuting.

I couldn't help feeling curious about these so-new-to-me first class subway cars in Hong Kong and Dubai, but hope they don't come to the U.S.
