ZAHS advanced band performs at Grandberry Mall
Zama American High School’s advanced band played for the first time in a local foreign national concert venue May 22 at Grandberry Mall.
Kevin Hanson, Zama American School band teacher, said he has been here nine years and they have been unable to find a venue off-base.
“For this performance opportunity, we had to send a video of the band to be asked/accepted to play,” said Hanson.
The symphonic band of 41 students played a variety of music to include some Disney movie themed music, Batman’s theme song and the Mission Impossible movie theme song.
Hanson said the mall manager was watching the crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
“We were invited to come back anytime,” said Hanson.

Went for a walk in Amersfoort and came across this lady loitering in the daffodils.
I did not ask why and she offered no explanation....
She has way too much energy, I need to get some more toys for her cuz she takes it out on the other cats. It's pretty funny seeing her chase cats much larger than her (tho the cats may disagree).

Taken by the G-man, because I gave in.
He was so thrilled to press the button and see the results. And true to his nature, having observed me - one time - turn the knob to put the camera on the "Play" setting, he was all about doing that every time he took another picture.
