A once in a lifetime for this gent from India. In his 49th year and never seen snow before. Just HAD to turn off M62 at J22 to let him get out and experience it.
I got my new studio lights today. (Elinchrom) and my new light / flash meter (Sekonic). This is the 1´st pictures taken using that equipment. I have to go back to my book (McNally) to get more knowledge of how to control the light, and practice MUCH more. I have 5 photojobs scheduled this spring, all from major Swedish companies. Have to get ready to challange that task. Looking forward to that with horrormixed joy!
By the time my friend Chuck Hilliard and I had arrived, the clouds has begun to thicken. But a few breaks allowed the glow to penetrate through. An amazing and proud moment.

I went searching for the Liguus tree snail for the firsttime today. I did not have much hope for finding any. I was expecting to bitten by a Cotton Mouth first.
Lady Luck was on my side and I found two specimens. Both on Gumbo Limbo trees and both on the south facing side. I did not wander too far off the hiking path since the side paths are more like armadillo trails than paths.
The Florida Tree Snail is classified as a species of special concern (SSC) and is being watched closely.

It was probably this lil guys first time ever seeing snow, too bad it wasn't real snow, and it was just part of Stoney Point's nightly production of a 10 min soap snow =)

It took about two hours =P.

I wanted this to be tasteful, so I made sure that their position wasn't revealing anything. *cough*nipple*cough*.
Took me forever editing Sophie's hair.
