De sijs (Carduelis spinus) is een zangvogel van de familie der vinkachtigen. In Nederland was de sijs vooral een wintergast, maar tegenwoordig broedt hij ook in Nederland.
The Eurasian Siskin (Carduelis spinus) is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. It is also called the European Siskin, Common Siskin or just Siskin. Other (archaic) names include Black-headed Goldfinch,[2] barley bird and aberdevine.[3] It is very common throughout Europe and Asia. It is found in forested areas, both coniferous and mixed woodland where it feeds on seeds of all kinds, especially of alder and conifers.

daß i die rechte Pratz`n hab, daß i a Fiaker bin.
A Kutscher kann a jeder wer`n
aber fahr`n, das können`s nur in Wean

One of my shots after I had my first DSLR. Taken at a local restaurant here in Cayman Islands. Just thought it would be nice to show it to you guys.
My first trip this season to the George Eastman House Gardens revealed a lot of poppies.....and not a whole lot else as far as flowers go.
We went to check up on my wife's cousin, Shoko, at the hospital today to see her new baby girl Kiko, 4 days old today. Both of them are just so beautiful together. But for a tiny little thing, it's funny how Kiko's already waving around gangsta hand signs.

is` stolz auf sein`n Stand,
mia hab`n a an Charakter,
zeig`n euch gern Stadt und Land.
Das schöne Burgtheater und d` alten Kaiserwagen.
Die Kaiserstadt viel schönes hat, das kann ma` ruhig sag`n

brauch i nur a kurze Zeit, da schiaß`n`s immer nur so hin,
es geht nur allweil tropp, tropp, tropp,
und durch die Prater Hauptallee geht`s bisserl mit Routin,
weil d`Rappn spur`n zum Lusthaus hin,
dort is a Pause drin.
A` d` Pferd woll`n rasten, das is klar,
weil weit war der Weg, das is schon wahr
