God's Utterance "God’s Work, God’s Disposition, and God Himself III" (Part One)

Introduction

Almighty God says: "God sees this instance of management of mankind, of saving humans, as more important than anything else. He does these things not only with His mind, nor is it only with His words, and He particularly does not do it casually—He does all of these things with a plan, with a goal, with standards, and with His will. It is clear that this work to save mankind holds great significance for both God and man. No matter how difficult the work is, no matter how great the obstacles are, no matter how weak humans are, or how deep mankind’s rebelliousness is, none of this is difficult for God. God makes Himself busy, expending His effort and managing the work He Himself wants to carry out. He is also arranging everything, and ruling all the people and the work He wants to complete—none of this has been done before. It is the first time God has used these methods and paid a great price for this major project of managing and saving mankind. While God is carrying out this work, little by little He is expressing to humans without reservation His hard work, what He has and is, His wisdom and almightiness, and every aspect of His disposition. He unreservedly reveals all of this to mankind bit by bit, revealing and expressing these things as He has never done before."

I finally did it!! My first ever steel wool shot and I am stoked. It has been a very long time since I have done something totally new and different with my photography. Kinda made me feel like I did when I first got into photography and now I have some interesting ideas for this type of shot that I hope to try out sometime.

Taken on time, posted late...heh.

In Britain we have had the warmest February day on record today & little Dillon got his first look at the garden!

It's the first time he's been outside at our home, altho he was used to going around the farmyard at his birthplace.

I had him on a collar & lead in case he ran off, but he was quite good - only a couple of tangles around bushes. The main problem was that I'd forgotten how quick a kitten can be at running down garden steps.... & I was having a bad health day & almost broke my neck trying to hang onto him!!

Overall, he seemed pretty chilled, & had a good old sniff here & there, & then a quiet sit to gaze about - that's when I took this photo.

Bella, our fluffy tortie girl was also outside, & had a good examination of him to make sure he was the 'right' kitten for our garden :D

Sadie Mae's first time going thru a car wash with me.

She was so inquisitive and relaxed.

***Explored***

I've always thought that "Great Blue....." was not a very good name for this heron. They never looked even vaguely blue the many times I have seen them.

But in the late afternoon yesterday, possibly from the reflection in the rather dirty water, this one bird did look slightly blue! How about that!

Not perfect - but i like it: Another photo from my very first modelshooting at all! Hope you like it!? ;)

Hello there! I have not been here for a while and thats all thanks to school. But now I had some time over! (Not really actually, I have a test coming up next week and I really have to practis but I can´t concentrate for the moment)

Eather way! I have som terrible news! Last sunday it snowed, wich means that I am not happy at all... I hate winter... And why does the snow have to come already? It usually comes in the begining of november but the weather is pretty strange so instead it decided to snow one month earlier this year! (And even more strange is the fact that for about 3 weeks ago it was +20 C here!)

And now for the picture! It is my friend Mathilda that I have been shooting in a Studio! Really fun, and for those of you who didn´t know, this was my first time ever in a studio! Fun? Oh Yes! We´ll see if there will be more photoshots there this winter but I really hope so! Cause there is many things that I´d like to learn about it!

my first session with smoke.

And it was really cool shooting.

Did I do well? :)

I truly enjoyed my very short but intense engineering career. However, I had already started it with secret reservations and the serious intention to not let it be more than a game. A game of playing and experimenting with the demands of society, to feel out all these strange things like social identity, social status, social success, the countless rules people live by or think they have to live by. A game; not so much to figure out how I could fit in into this society, but investigating what these rules really are, who is making them, and if there is actually anyone enforcing them.

As a boy, dreaming of a wonderful purpose of my life and feeling the apparently so uniquely masculine fascination with problem solving in general and with science, physics, and machines in particular, I was convinced that science was the real search for truth. And if there was anyone who had the necessary pragmatism, the deeply humane common sense to apply science in order to save the world, it were engineers. I saw science as truth and engineering as an act of love and service. I thought of engineers as the ones who not only understood things but also could make things. I thought that real scientists and engineers would never sell out such ideals to “The System”, to corporations, to profane inferior standards like profit, and if they had to, in order to make a living, they would be utterly unhappy. It soon became clear that the real world is far more complex, but I still always resisted to conform.

In my first (and last, and only) job, when it seemed I was just sailing along so effortlessly having a ball, I felt the tentacles of the gigantic octopus reach out for me, the nameless, faceless “System”, ready to devour and digest me. It would use my energy to grow stronger and stronger itself throughout my life, without ever consulting me, while I grew older and weaker until, in the end, it would simply excrete me and find another virgin soul full of energy to take my place and do the same thing all over again.

This System has its very own goals, entirely independent of us and often mercilessly opposed to our wellbeing. It is by no means a physical entity or a person, anything tangible at all, and yet it seems to rule our lives more than anything else as it consists of us, as it is what we are when we forget our true identity and confuse it with the forever doomed sensation of Self.

I designed cassette playing mechanisms for car radios. These little machines actually played a role for a while in one generation of people on this world. But I thought it was just a game. I made my move, then, after only a few years, in spite of all the success still young and green behind my ears and resigned for good; determined to live on my own terms. This was 25 years ago, a short episode, a moment at a crossroads. Today it’s just a great story, a way too long caption under a picture.

Looby-Loo's first ever day at the seaside. The weather wasn't great but that was never going to get in the way of manic fun.

Chasing waves. Being scared of waves when they chase back. Chasing seagulls, unless they go out to sea. Being out of your depth 2 feet from the edge. Discovering that puddles on a beach are not thirst quenching. But seaweed is great for carrying around with an air of importance. And so on...

The Authentic Old Drugstore takes you back to the early days

when St. Augustine was but a Spanish hamlet. It was built by

Antonio Gomaas in 1739. He built it as a place of revelry, within

the the jurisdiction of the city, for protection, but away from the

actual settlement. They sold liquor, tobacco, medicine and Indian remedies. They also sold many of their own medical concoctions. The historic building went through many owner changes and many renovations. It was purchased in the late 1980’s by and is still owned by the Harris Foundation. They made many repairs and opened this fascinating Museum free of charge to the public. The Authentic Old Drugstore is maintained and supported by the sales in the gift shop. The gift shop is contained in the area that was once a courtyard and has made no impact on the original historic building. For a contrast to today’s high-tech pharmacies, stop in at the Oldest Drug Store located in Historic downtown. You won’t see any computers – instead, antique cash registers, wood floors and bottles of remedies. Elixirs and tonics are a charming representation of an era gone by.

My first time out shooting after midnight.

Footdee is an area of Aberdeen, Scotland known locally as "Fittie". It is an old fishing village at the east end of the harbour. The name is actually folk etymology. Far from being "Foot of the Dee/Fit o the Dee", it is actually a corruption of a former dedication to a "St Fothan".

The area has had a settlement as far back as the Medieval times and the first recorded reference to the area of Fittie was in the year 1398. This village was slightly further North than where Footdee is now located. It would have been near to where the St Clement's Church is located.

Footdee is a particularly interesting example of a planned housing development purpose-built to re-house Aberdeen's local fishing community. Laid out in 1809 by John Smith, then Superintendent Of The Town's Public Works. Smith went on to establish himself as one of Aberdeen's key architects. Occupying an isolated spit of land to the SE of Aberdeen's city centre, its regimented squares have been described as a cross between the neo-classical aspirations of Aberdeen and the close-knit fishing communities of the north-east.

The two squares of 'Fish Town' (known as Footdee), originally contained 28 single-storey thatched houses although this increased when the later Middle Row (circa 1837) and Pilot Square (circa 1855) were added. The entrances on each of the North and South squares were filled in the 1870s by William Smith (son of John and architect of Balmoral Castle). He also added additional storeys to the East and West sides of South Square creating a tenement feel. This was an attempt to ease crowding resulting from an influx of fishing families from other less prosperous areas and to help try to enforce the 'one-house-one-family' rule.

The Town Council decided to start selling the dwellings to occupiers in 1880, beginning a period of incremental development and reconstruction. Additional storeys and dormers were added piecemeal by the new owners as funds allowed. The result is one of individuality expressed within the constraints of a strictly formal plan and is a contributing factor to the special architectural and historical interest of Footdee as a whole.

Throughout the 19th century, 'tarry sheds' were added to the communal land within the squares opposite each dwelling and now every dwelling has its own shed. Originally constructed from drift wood and other found materials, the sheds have been built and rebuilt in an idiosyncratic manner over the years in a variety of materials with rendered brick now predominating slightly (2006). Some timber built sheds remain, predominantly on the North side of North Square.

North Square Mission Hall occupies the central area of the North Square, reflecting its significance as an integral part of village life. The building is plain, with simple detailing throughout, and as such, responds sympathetically to its setting and context. Known locally as 'the schoolie' the hall was built for general as well as religious purposes and continues to operate as a multi-purpose meeting space.

The entire Footdee village was added to the statutory list in 1967 as a single entity. The village was subsequently given Conservation Area status in 1968. At resurvey in 2006, each building within the Conservation Area was re-assessed separately. Key examples, demonstrating both individual architectural interest and representing the history and development of the village as a whole, were selected for listing.

On an 1828 map, the new housing squares were specifically labelled 'Fish Town'. 'Footdee' referred to the larger area from St. Clement's Church to 'Fish Town'. Later, the name 'Footdee' was erroneously used to refer specifically to the housing squares, with 'Fish Town' becoming forgotten.

On Tuesday 25 September 2012, Footdee became covered in foam from the sea after experiencing strong wind and rain conditions. The effect was like a blanket of snow and this made the UK national news.
