This image is not meant to be a technically good landscape. I was out with Stan for sunrise this morning as we had the first covering of snow this year and for him it is his first time in snow.
I grabbed this shot when he obligingly hopped up on to a rock as I was composing another shot.
The sun was coming right down the lens, the exposure was all over the place, but I just wanted to grab the image quick as a reminder of how he tried to keep himself airborne the whole time we were out because the snow was cold on his paws. He also seemed to feel he had to chase every snowflake individually! Now we are back home he is fast asleep - I could do with snow more often!

Lovely young lady getting ready to set out on what was evidently her maiden voyage as a paddleboarder.
A photo from a recent shoot I did. Curious little guy still figuring out what all of this means!
Wishing all of you a safe and Happy Holiday! Take the time to reflect and appreciate all that you hold dear.

February 13, 2023 - Fairview Park in Costa Mesa. My first visit and photo hike scouting for future visits.
Great shoot with firsttime-model Sarina. Was a lot of fun! She's shot with 50mm F1.4 USM, lit by a Speedlite 420EXII, triggered wirelessly by Cactus V5's, diffused by Rogue Flashbender softboxkit, angeled at about 45 degrees to the models left.
this is my first time doing the time lapse, due to lack of knowledge, i chose a wrong position, the milky way was going out of the frame... and disappear...
My first shitty attempt in combining two images together. Let me tell you, I spend over an hour doing this, and it will probably be the last time I do such a thing. The most I've ever spend on an image has been a little over 15min. This was torture for me unless someone can tell me an easy route to this... LOL
Parking slot #1 - does this look any Velvia to you?

This was my first attempt to try any photography by candle lite and let me tell you it was not easy, but then anything worth doing is worth doing right and should not be rushed. I sometimes et some of my best ideas at night. Maybe that is one of the reasons I stay up late.
This is a picture I took of my sister just two weeks before she gave birth.

Well this is a first and very much a prototype production for me. 1030 frames shot at 1 second intervals. Playback at 10 frames per sec saved at 720res. I need to venture into using the go pro so much more and the software in particular for producing something from it!
Health warning! flashing images from start to finish :)
Some attempts of macro photography with an analogic lens Micro Nikkor 55mm. Thanks to Giorgio Verdiani and Andrea Pasquali for lend it to me and Anna Frascari.
This was my first time ever shooting inside a cemetery. It was a totally different experience. There are so many subjects and infinite possiblties for a photographer. But, the most interesting part is studying and interpreting the history and emotions behind each of them.

February 7, 2023 - Yellow Rumped Warbler during my first visit ever to the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve in Henderson, NV.

The world’s latest wide-body aircraft, Airbus A350 landed in Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest for the first time today.
Lufthansa’s ultra-modern aircraft arrived in the Hungarian capital to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the German airline launching its first regular flight to four CEE cities including Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest and Zagreb.
Following a tradition of nearly 40 years set by Boeing 737, 747 Jumbo and the world’s largest passenger aircraft Airbus A380, Lufthansa is now the first airline to present the most state-of-the-art passenger plane in the world in Hungary.

This is a photo of the first and only photo that I ever took with a Speed Graphic and Fuji pull apart film. And of course it is a photo of the Tarentum Bridge. The Camera belonged to Noah Purdy and was a real mix of technologies, the camera, a 60 year old Speed Graphic, the Polaroid back was from the 1960s, modern Fujifilm Instant film, and the Apple iPhone for a light meter and timer.
