first snow of the season

there was snow! and then i realised i could turn the clock back one hour, and crawled back to bed.

Shadow out in the snow. She dashed in a few seconds later, all snow-speckled and chilly. :)

It actually snowed enough to stay on the ground late last night. Look! I took this around 9pm and messed with it to remove the light pollution and make it look like daylight. I know it's a crappy picture, but I don't care. It's my snow! Yay!

This was a few days ago, the enchanted morning with the first snow of the year.

We made a trip to Kirchseeon near Munich and you won't believe what we found there: it's where the wild things are!
