Layered a few shots, the sky is legit, it was right before a pretty heavy storm.

View on the West coast of Scotland from First Coast on the A832 looking toward An Teallach on a wintry Easter Monday. Gruinard Island is also in the shot. The wind was howling and the waves were crashing against the shore. Took this using an ND10 filter. Cheers
Our first winter storm is blowing through.

This Itoh peony gets its name ‘First Arrival’ as it is one of the first hybrid peonies to bloom in the year. This is a semi-double flower variety of peony that has crinkly lavender-pink flowers.
The exquisite blossoms gradually become redder closer to the center of the flower. The center of the Itoh peony flower looks like a magenta and yellow-colored spiky ball. These large flowers can be as many as 40 on each plant with each one measuring around 8” (20 cm) across.

My first star trail ... very much a test shot to learn some lessons for when I do it for real later in the year. The focus isn't quite right here but I put this down to it being 2am in the morning and the few nips of Laphroaig that I had consumed beforehand :D Also, still very much learning how to use my camera's intervalometer.
