First time out with my camera this year, just feeling a little rusty after using the trusty iPhone over Christmas, trying to remember setting i need on the camera I find a challenge but i think i got some ok shots in the limited time Ihad
Nothing could make me love Summer more, except maybe a boat ride with our closest friends. Nick and I were invited to join Jeff an Kara on their pontoon last weekend to meet Nora. Nora came over from Korea a couple months ago, and she has been shy around strangers (understandably).
I think they have discovered the secret to integrating new people: stick her on a boat with them so she can’t escape…she warmed up and became playful around us very quickly...success!

I know how it is frowned upon for the Male genre to take "selfies" but on this day I felt it was neccesary.
This was taken during my very first time trying standup in an area called "The Pit" in a dorm building at WIU in April of 2006. A couple of jokes got laughs, and I've been working at it ever since.
First time I've seen any elk in the south coast. Herd of ~30+, top of Indian Arm.
