This is the first time i ever got to meet Al. We waited outside the venue in Duluth for about 3 hours until the bus came. Al was real nice, especially since he has just gotten up.

I traveled to India for the first time to present a keynote at the 3rd Global Conference on Emerging Trends for Business Librarianship, November 21-22, 2017 at the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad, India. I started my journey home on the evening of November 23rd, so we had an opportunity to take in more sites in Gujarat. We visited the Sun Temple in Modhera, also in Gujarat. This Hindu temple is dedicated to Surya (the solar deity) and located in the Mehsana district. It was built in 1026-1027 AD. According to the Wikipedia, the temple complex has three main components: "Gudhamandapa, the shrine hall; Sabhamandapa, the assembly hall and Kunda, the reservoir." What an amazing site. It was wonderful to see so many Five-Striped Palm Squirrels there. I love these little guys! Pictures from Thursday November 23, 2017.

There's a first time for everything,and the foremost is always the sweetest.Kailee Bautista has been playing softball,rec league and select,the past 3 years and has not won the big one until this Sunday.Thanks to her 04 Texas Travelers teammates and coaches,she can finally get that monkey off her back.Aside from the 1st place trophy that was given to all the girls,Kailee was also awarded the team trophy,another first for the team,as voted by her coach,for being outstanding the whole tournament.On to the next one,as this outfielder tries to catch up with the rest of her teammates,who owns multiple 1st place plaques.
