All three eyasses were observed on the ledge above the scrape this morning, first time that I have seen them all up there. Believe that Hope and Jane are pictured. The 3 eyasses are named and banded: Jane, Black/Blue K/08; Hope, black/blue K/09; and Simon, black/blue 76/V. Two females and one male for 2022.

That's the first time I see a long horned beetle for real ! I only saw photos of it, and when I got back home, I was amazed to see it just next to my mailbox ! I HAD to take some shots !!
As Usual, not really sharp with my reversed 50 mm and home-made extension tube !
Hope you like it though :)

I love being in a place for the first time without having researched it ahead of time and trying to suss out what makes the place "tick": landmarks, etc. Of course, I am always on the lookout for coastal England "British Modernist" in art deco especially and Rottingdean didn't disappoint -

Taken from Zapata Falls Road. I didn't even see this at first, in my cars blind spot, another guy heading in the other way, stopped in the road and pointed it out to me. First time I've seen a tornado in person. Combination of terror since I was 4 miles away on a mountain with no where to go and delight at seeing something so awesome. It was there and gone in about 5-10 minutes. Would have take more pics but the sky fell immediately after I took this, or rather the hail did. The National Parks Service asked if they could use it for some of their presentations, i said ok, of course they are giving me full credit.
(4 miles is an estimate, it was 12 miles East of Mosca, I was 16 miles East)
