常総鬼怒川花火大会
I visited this festival, again.
It's a star mine scene of Joso Fireworks display.
昨年に引き続き、常総市の花火大会を見に行きました。
この夏、花火はあまり行けそうになかったものの、
毎週のように夜だけ・・・。
少々風が強く、花火が流れてしまっていたのは残念ですが、
一流の花火師さんの上げる花火は立派です。

The firework festival is about 20,000 shots in one night.
This is the final shot of Yamagata Fireworks Festival.
It was the big one. (15号 = 45cm diameter, explosion is about 400m)
I'll upload more shots the other day.
今日は朝から山形市内を散策し、2万発規模の花火を見物しました。
帰りは当然ながら大行列でした。
あまり大きさは伝わらないかもしれませんが、
取り急ぎ、最後に打ち上げられた15号玉の写真をアップします。
撮影はカメラ2台で写真と動画を半々。また後日掲載します。
これからもう少し山形県内を旅するつもりです。

I love trying to find different angles to shoot the fireworks from but sometimes it becomes a real challenge. I always feel that I have to be center with Cinderella Castle but sometimes it's very hard to find a place to setup. Here's a shot from just in front of what use to be the rose garden.
