Some of the fireworks on display on the closing day of The Ballinasloe October Fair which is one of the oldest fairs in Ireland, at one stage renowned as the largest and greatest in all of Europe.
Ellis Island, in Upper New York Bay, was the gateway for over 12 million immigrants to the U.S. as the United States' busiest immigrant inspection station for over 60 years from 1892 until 1954.( short from Wikipedia )
The main building just under the fireworks was opened in 1900 and now as a “ Immigration Museum “.

Grapevine Texas has a weekly fireworks display each weekend between Memorial Day through Labor Day. This will have to do until I can get to the big show....

Got the camera out on a kayak trip to watch the fireworks. It's a dangerous game without a waterproof case.
Fireworks are without a doubt one of my most favorite things to photograph. They offer a challenge to get the photo correct on the first try because you only get one shot for that perfect photo. Do you enjoy shooting fireworks? Have a magical day!
Went to Coney Island tonight to see the hot air balloons and the fireworks. The balloons were a little camera shy, but I had fun shooting the fireworks. It was another great display by the Rozzi family.
