I've had plenty of good times and have settled peacefully into quite a boring existence that I love. I had enough fireworks and chaos. It is a blissful boring life, believe me.

Taken July 4, 2018 from the Division St Bridge crossing the Spokane River which gives the reflection I like so well. You are looking west into River Front Park which though open is undergoing extensive renovation this summer. Nothing much has been done to the park since the end of Expo 74 and work was needed

The county fair fireworks show was not very long. On this night, the Ferris wheel was loading passengers and not moving when the fireworks began. Then I got lucky. Yea for movement!
"Life isn't always about fireworks. Your fireworks will come. And they'll fizzle out just as fast. Life's an experience, not a destination. All of us have the same destination, but not one of us has an identical experience. You'll find someone who will be there when the fireworks fizzle out and the sky turns black and love you just the same. That’s the one to hold onto.”

With Guy Fawkes looming on the horizon, other winter celebrations coming up, and the nights drawing in, Fireworks will soon be illuminating the skies. I can’t wait. Since I was a kid I have had a strange fascination with them. For the past few years I have had some cool opportunities for photographing them too. www.stewartmarsden.co.uk/2017/07/02/photograph-fireworks/
