"Daddy, can we just do ONE firework?"

Taken in Autreppes, France.

This particular photo was taken from Millstone Lane looking towards the town centre. Over the road to the right by the parked lorry is Firebug, one of Leicester's finest live music venues, and a pretty decent pub too!

終於拍到幾張像樣的螢火蟲發光照片，運用長時間曝光，外加閃光燈，配合上活動力變差的螢火蟲一隻，說的容易，但實際拍攝真的不容易成功啊。

A little insect, about 10-15mm long, very common in SW France on sunny days. I have never seen one fly, so they probably can't. The French call them "gendarmes" because like the police, you see them more on sunny days, but I would like to know their proper name so I can submit a photo to EOL.org if possible. Thanks!

Have a cosy weekend...
