You would have thought it would be an unusual niche copying the overtly generic castings of the Toys R Us Fast Lane 1/64 line but its surprising how many Chinese toy makers do. Not the full array but mainly the pseudo-futuristic looking Fire Engine with its angular cab and wraparound windscreen.
Qizhuo Toys have taken this unique cab design and used it for a scissor lift truck in Fire Engine guise. Chunky but substantial with good solid build quality and obligatory pullback function.
Found in a Chinese bazaar in Spain.
Mint and boxed.
An interesting event last night, fire alarm sounded at 7.30pm.
After 5 mins it didn’t turn off so I left the building by the stairs (4th floor up of 5) and met a few residents outside the front of the building.
I waited 15 mins and nobody knew what was happening, we were not informed or contacted by anyone who runs the building. After 20 mins I, and others returned to the apartment and then - approx 30 mins after the alarm sounded the fire service arrived.
No idea what caused it but seemingly a false alarm

"Truck Day" in Watertown, MA.
They had a firetruck, ambulance, police cruiser and motorcycle, mail truck, bulldozer, school bus, and all sorts of big vehicles on display for kids to get into and play with. Great fun!
