Fire Fighters from the Inland Empire and all over SoCal battle a large 8,000 + acre Brush Fire that started in the Bernardino National Forest and made its way into the Summit Valley area of San Bernardino County.
Saw this snake head in the fire last night; or is it ET in trouble? Thought it was appropriate for some Saturday Silliness.

We had our 1st fire in the fireplace this season.
I threw in a couple of "magic pinecones" to make some pretty colors in the flame.
Speaking of things that are hot, here's a little Bruce from me to you! 8-)

I've entered the "Artist Wanted - The Power Of Self" competition again this year, and included some of my selfportraits for the competition. All I need from you is to cast your vote and tell your friends too! I could win a whole year expenses paid and I'd be enormously gratefull.

Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

What is this? Carson posted something?? I finally got around to photographing some of my LEGO builds from the last year or two. Unlike this one, I would say more of them are incomplete. I also have a bunch of interesting tablescraps I'll be posting soon.
Sorry for being so inactive the last year. It's tough to balance this hobby with everything else in life right now.
A little update: I'll be heading off to the University of Michigan in a few weeks! Ill be in the Art and Design program there. It will be a huge change for me, as I'm used to surfing everyday and perfect weather, but I'm sure I will love it there.
Also, I post at least once a day on my Instagram (@carsonhart) if any of you are interested in checking it out. I put a ton of effort into my photos, so it would be awesome if you guys could take a look!
That's it for now, see ya!

Today there was a major fire in Manchester City Centre, UK. The building in question was disused and supposedly empty; situated on the edge of China Town. The gentlemen in red are the fire investigation team who's job it is to find out what caused the fire to start.
Update: I have since learned the sad news that there were two people died in the fire, it is thought they were homeless people using the building as a shelter....RIP.
