Located deep in outer space was an area known as the Fire Triangle. This zone was infamous for ships disappearing, just the Bermuda Triangle on Earth. Strangely, here, spaceships would burst into flames in the airless, cold vacuum of space.

To combat this enigmatic menace, a band of heroes was recruited. People of such awesomeness that they would almost spontaneously combust themselves. The Space Fire Team extinguished fires, rescued cats stuck in craters and once repelled a whole Blacktron invasion by the force of their charisma.

The high-speed, manta ray shaped ships were welcome sight to distressed space travellers across the galactic disk. Featuring wings for atmospheric flight and externally mounted super engines, the Fire Mantas' graceful shape epitomised the ethos of the Space Fire Team.

A capture of an art glass plate seen at the Tempe Art Festival, this central section looks just like fire to me. Since glass blowing and glass art begins with fire, seeing it born right into the glass for the color was exciting. I do not know the artist and would appreciate an ID so I may give a credit. This photo was shot about 20 feet from the plate displayed on a stand in a vendor booth.
