I finished this (1000 piece) jigsaw today. It’s an Agatha Christie theme, with masses of details based on her books. A friend had finished it & asked if I wanted to do it too. It was a fascinating puzzle to do.
This is my finished quilt :-) more pics blogged here on my flower press blog www.flowerpress.blogspot.com.
For my new niece.
Made a larger border this time to make the blanket a little bigger.

I finished the Fandango quilt today. Just in time, as it will go to its new owner this evening. I quilted straight horizontal lines and added some orange hand quilted details. The back is more Fandango fabric and the same Kona tan as the top. Dimensions: 170x140 cm (67x55), before washing.
Well, the stitching is finished. Now I need to block it and build up the nerve to attach to a board and add the clock mechanism. (All those hours of cross-stitching and then poking a hole for the mechanism, eek!)
Pattern by Joanne Arnett and featured in Hoopla, although I swapped the aida for 32ct evenweave and chose different colours.
