Taken from my front lawn (well till Wednesday when we move) in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, Australia - this was the third massive storm in 3 days that has broken rainfall records in Brisbane for the most rainfall in November since 1981.
The media claims it is the worst flooding since the infamous 1974 Brisbane flood - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1974_Brisbane_flood
Once the storm passed I headed out from my safe haven on the front deck to find this amazing cloud spewing out lightning.
I was out shooting a spot in the area when I saw the storm coming in the distance, so I waited and got a few shots and then rain came. I managed to get past McDs on Wynnum Road into the industrial area to put the full beam on to see where I was headed. Just as I passed Cannon Hill station the hail started and I got in the garage just as it hammered down.
I must thank the neighbours for the light trails.

It's no surprise that Emily came out 21 inches long with these long fingers... my sister's about six feet tall, and her husband is even taller.

Finger Lakes Railway's former Conrail B23-7 No. 1989 shows off its neat Quality touch-up, parked on the main at Solvay NY, prior to installation of radio control equipment which marred its appearance.

I won't say exactly what my speedometer read as we left here for the next shot east of Cayuga Lake, but it was in the high digits.

July 4th, 2019, giant lightning bolt like a large hand with finger bolts in the sky over McIntosh Lake, Longmont Colorado, Boulder County. This was a great storm to photograph, it was the storm that kept giving in all directions,. We had massive rain before fireworks and then this show that went on well after midnight.
Feels great to get back out there! Been a lot going on I will update when things calm down.

We headed out early this morning to shoot these frozen falls. My fingers are finally thawed enough to edit and post! I am NOT meant to photograph winter!!!!! Kind of hard to shoot as it was really misty and steamy......this is in a subdivision and I believe the water is heated. Have a great Sunday Flickr friends!
