DAY 8
Finalizing the plating of leg- just adding more detail and plates to the legs- trying to make it as smooth as possible.
My only concerns now is the knee carps.
I need to design that.
Also, on side note:
Few things i'm not satisfied with was the knee join looks- the transition from knee to the thighs looks awkward... To me it doesn't look right.
I will have to consider new design or changing up a few things again to make it look better.
There's still something miss, I might have to get more things and today i got over 3000 parts from BL.
Right now i am currently at approx. 3000 parts per leg.
already went through over 350 pins.

I am just finalizing my plans to travel to Peru in January, to go downriver from Iquitos in the Amazon and to spend 9 or so days at a couple of primitive camps along the Rio Orosi. I have been down there perhaps 5 times and it is a remarkable place. Every bush, every tree has some interesting herp or "bug" on or around it, and a slow walk can be so productive. These shots are from previous Peru trips and I thought you might enjoy them,

Finalizing details in my sketch for the dressing room scene of Kiss Me Kate. Using a Wacom Cintiq monitor and Alias Sketchbook Pro.
I had uploaded the wrong image so I uploaded the correct one just now. I wanted to keep the design simple and direct and I chose this color scheme because its bold and boxing is an intense sport.

After we had Katy for a few hours on the 23rd we then went back to the Civil Affairs Office to finalize the adoption. They wanted to make sure you were happy with your child at this point you could still tell them you did not like that child for whatever reason and not take her. I can't imagine anyone doing that,she was ours from the first time we saw her picture, it would not make any difference what was wrong to us she was ours daughter and we would just deal with it. But apparently some people do not feel this wy.
Finalizing their new looks… I love them so much! I'm really happy right now =)
Btw, Coco & Cornelia are the same sculpt originally! This picture doesn't show it that well, but they are very very different now… I like that because Cornelia is one of my absolute favorite dolls and it was hard for Coco to compare. Better for her to be different and to be her own! =)

After the third coat of "Warm Penny" Metallic Paint, I went back in around each of the bands and added another coat of the 'Dark Patina' paint along all the bands...where rain and wear would have darkened the copper. then I finished off with another coat of 'Royal Ruby' just on the bands.
Once this is dry, I will also antique it to create a more weathered look.
I also have added brass brads (with the heads painted copper) to the edge of the roof piece to finish it off, and have aged the roof piece, the lantern itself, and the tile at the base. It is beginning to come together.
