This is a frame from a video. You can watch it on Vimeo.
A short film of us writing and recording the song Big City. The actual recording process was spread over about 4 weeks - this is from the first session where we decided to start tackling the recording of this song. The week before we'd already layed down the initial MIDI tracks. This was shot at our friend's house (Andy Leddington), the same place as other Bournemouth acts have recorded - such as Dutch Husband, True Swamp Neglect and The Hat

Editando el primer videoclip para Réquiem por Tesla. Será más complicado de lo que me esperaba.
This is my office about 9 months after the last photo. The power supply on my G4 PowerMac blew and so did the vid card on the Cube so I bought a PCI vid card and moved those two monitors to the G5. The Cube is now just a headless file server and I use my PowerBook and G5 as my workstations. I made some bookshelves and finally un-boxed some of my library.

A 21st century interpretation of William Penn’s “greene country towne” will appear atop the PECO Crown Lights as the first Art in the Air exhibit of 2011 opens Friday, Sept. 2.
"The Green and Growing City" was created by Timothy Wingert specifically for the PECO Crown Lights as an animation reflecting both the life and energy of the city as well as Philadelphia's leading role in making urban areas "green" and artistically integrated into their natural surroundings. This 30-second animation of nature's growth and life cycles seen on top of one of the city's prominent structures represents what William Penn's idea of a “greene country towne” is all about.
Wingert’s work will be shown alongside “Dancers” by James Simpson and “Cool Waves” by Chris McManus. All three pieces will be displayed on the Crown Lights each Friday in September from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Art in the Air is a partnership between Breadboard, a program of the University City Science Center that explores the intersection of art, science and technology, and PECO. The September artworks were selected by Breadboard and PECO.
New exhibits will be mounted in October, November and December. In January, PECO and Breadboard will select the “Best in Show” works, selecting up to three pieces featured during the four, month-long exhibits for a chance to receive a $1,000 prize from Breadboard.
“Art in the Air” was launched in 2010 during Philadelphia’s annual Welcome America Celebration, commemorating the first anniversary of the launch of PECO’s new energy efficient LED Crown Lights system. In 2010, PECO featured the works of more than 20 different artists atop the lights as part of the program.
Artists interested in submitting their work for consideration should click here or submit their work to artintheair(at)sciencecenter(dot)org. More information about the PECO Crown Lights is available at www.peco.com/crownlights.

Yeah, my Youtube Account now is forsaken from February, but fear not, this fall I will to show you some my ideas.
So, Stay Tuned on YouTube, and also on my Photo-Stream on Flickr and ShotFolder!
New things are coming...
For my Advanced DV Filmmaking class we had a short assignment, find a classic painting and replicate it. I can't imagine a better project to use as a first Flickr video..after all the whole concept of video on Flickr is a moving picture. That's basically the assignment.
So my partner, Natalie, and I selected "The Annunciation" by William Henry Tanner. Everyone else was smart enough to pick something with not much background, which meant not having to make an interior. We were not so smart, but she came through on the arches.
Nikon D90 video w/ 16mm f/2.8 Zenitar fisheye @ f/4-5.6ish
Edited in Final Cut, minor fix in Motion that we planned to rectify during the shoot. "We'll fix it in post," a phrase that is rarely worth the time.
Strobist.com info: Arriflex 300w frensel w/ barndoors quintuple gelled orange (1/2 or 1/4 orange, not sure which). Barndoors were used to create an ungelled hotspot under light on the left of the frame for more glow over there. Also, 4 foot fluorescent fixture with 3500k lamps gelled yellow and two layers of orange.
If you want to see more of my video work you can visit this link to view a Self Portrait assignment. Use the password "walnut" to view. Also, this link will get you to a demo reel of high school football highlights I've shot for the tv station. The password for this one is "peanut"

When I redressed Isha in this gown, I had to think of this song from the Chicago musical immediately.... "Razzle- dazzle them!" ;)

Fortunately we live in a country setting during these troubled times and can get out and walk while maintaining “social distance”. Our development is serviced by privately maintained roads which makes for a rather safe place to walk. There is a minimum amount of traffic to deal with. The terrain varies a little and includes an incline that gets our old hearts pounding. We often encounter neighbors which gives us an opportunity to find out whats going on.
I also put together another one of these walking videos for the nearby golf course. The course was a great place to walk during the month or so when it was closed. Here is a link to that video…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PA6e...
The Neighborhood Walk video points out a silo that still remains on the golf course. Here is a drone video I capture of the silo and that part of the neighborhood…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-YLM...
As many of you may remember, we’ve done a bunch of cruises over the last 10 years or so. A favorite activity while cruising is to get up early in the morning and walk the halls on 3-4 decks. Here are a couple walking videos I did while cruising.
This one has short clips, in real time, from several different areas covered during an early morning walk…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=rP5Om...
This one covers a typical hallway, the promenade area, and an outdoor jogging track. Each area is covered in it’s entirety, via time-lapse, and points out details encountered along the way…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=raKXG...
This neighborhood video was captured with a GoPro Hero 8 Black and I used GoPro’s “Time Warp” feature. “Time Warp” is basically a time-lapse where the camera is in motion.
Editing was done with Apple “Final Cut Pro X” which I’m still in the process of learning.
Background music was Audio Lounge “Inspiring - Happy Upbeat”.

In January, PECO and Breadboard will select the “Best in Show” works, selecting up to three pieces featured during the four, month-long exhibits for a chance to receive a $1,000 prize from Breadboard.

you can see the landscape reflected in the horse's eye... stills from shortfilm shot w/ canon zr70-- color-card-thing sucks, good lens. overcast day, bad resolution and color so HSL and ProcAmp'ed it in finalcut to it washout-out so wouldnt look so much like a 1988 camcorder homemovie. texas, just outside houston city limits, my cousin anna, a horse, a certain 'Ring' - like quality. 1/04
So, I made a short film out of some timelapsing i did today. Using an intervelometer (Canon TC-80N3) and my 30D, i shot over 1000frames and spliced them together in Quicktime and Finalcut. Check it out.
