General Motors certainly had it right with their various models of the 1950's. None were finer than the 57 with its sweeping rear fins and regal front end. I took this image and the one below last night while attending cruise night in downtown Winnipeg.

De los pocos carriles que quedan entre Almendricos y Guadix, en un centenario puente que contempla el paso de los años sin ver pasar trenes.
1ngày trôi qua ròi 2ngày ròi 3 ngày 4 5 ngày .... em thèm thuồng cái ôm từ anh . thèm thuồng nụ cười cũa anh , ròi nhớ cách ta nắm tay cười dỡn .... tất cã như thói quen khiến em phãi nhớ. Hqa a có nói anh khác ròi ?! ừ khác thật ròi . hình như chã còn qtâm em đang làm gì đang ra sao nữa :( chắc là em lại tuki nên nghĩ như vậy . kg có đâu har . anh yêu Hân mà har . : ) em thíc mấy dòng tn hqa. thíc cực kì....

por fin!!! a media hora de terminar el año, tengo la alegría de subir mi mosaico con TODOS los temas completados. no siempre hechos en la misma semana en la que toca el tema, pero sí todos hechos con ahínco y mucha ilusión (bueno, unos más que otros, eh??? :-D). gracias, compis, porque completar este mosaico ha sido mucho mejor, divertido y enriquecedor porque todos vosotros estabais ahí.

One of those locations where I wished I had more time to explore. You can head down to the beach and swim in the relatively protected beach. I saw a few adventurous souls that swamp out to the fin like structures too.
Petite ambiance brumeuse de ces derniers jours. On a pris un peu d'avance sur l'automne j'ai l'impression.

In Canada, fin whale populations occur in both the North Atlantic and North Pacific. The fin whale was once quite common in Canadian Pacific waters, but commercial whaling activity has greatly reduced their numbers. Fin whales generally travel alone or in small groups far offshore.
A double-pointed marble fin rises from the turquoise glacial waters of Lago General Carrera, Marble Caves, Puerto Rio Tranquilo, Patagonia.

...in questi ultimi giorni dell'anno sulla linea Genova - Ventimiglia vengono effettuati dei lavori di sostituzione di un cavalcaferrovia a Pegli, ciò ha comportato molti treni cancellati, altri sostituiti o integrati da servizi pullman e altri ancora deviati, sia regionali che pax...è il caso dell' IC 656 Ventimiglia - Milano Centrale, per l'occasione rinumerato 35356, che traianto dall' E402B.102 arrivato a Savona devia sulla linea per Acqui Terme - Alessandria, linea secondaria a binario unico con interessanti spunti ferfotografici lungo l' Appennino Ligure. Qui vediamo il convoglio, con un'ora e mezzo di ritardo a causa d'inconvenienti al blocco porte, in transito in territorio piemontese nei pressi di Bistagno, in una freschissima e assolata mattinata di fine Dicembre
One of the tricks of photographing great white sharks (Carcharodon carcharias) up-close is avoiding the sweeping caudal fin (aka tail fin) when they pass by. White sharks can reach speed bursts of up to 40km/h with a few strokes of their powerful tails.

Ayer estuvimos por Ávila con los amigos Gonzalo, Alfonso, Jesús y José Luis, una gran quedada donde pudimos ver bastantes cosas.
A mitad de la mañana con el paso del Villafría la tarjeta de memoria de mi camara de fotos se estropeó, y con ello todas las fotos que llevaba hechas en toda la mañana (entre ellas 4 mercancías) Pero el amigo Gonzalo se ofreció muy amablemente a intentar recuperarme las fotos como fuese y lo consiguió.
Amigo te debo una, o más de una.
Por otra parte el título hace referencia a que por fin pillo alguna 251!!! Por primera vez una 251 pasa por el objetivo de mi cámara y que mejor que estrenarme con dos y una 335 verde de paquete (tampoco había visto ninguna 335 verde)

Moonlight bathes the rocks and cliffs at Shark Fin (Shark Tooth) Beach near Davenport, CA.
The plan was to shoot the full moon set at Pigeon Point Lighthouse, so this was an early stopover for a quick shot from the northern bluff. Turns out, the lighthouse shot was a bust due to heavy fog, so probably should've stayed here.
This is a manual blend of 2-exposures (4 min sky and 8 min ground), processed with Nik Efex.
No bones were broken in the making of this image - this was my first time wearing a regular shoe on a photo hike since the fateful outing with Matt G to 4-Mile beach in Santa Cruz last month. I fell from a ledge and broke a toe and his camera got dunked in the ocean and didn't recover. People, be careful out there!
