The flavour starts off light and builds into a well bodied, complex IPA flavour. A blend of west coast pine, tropical fruit and a bit of caramel make for a big and flavourful beer with the hop profile making for a unique and rather delicious taste adventure. The complexity also seems to mask the high alcohol content while keeping the rather thick and creamy texture that comes with a big IPA. This is a very nice IPA and steps things a cut above for Parallel 49 Brewing.
I got a bit muddy on the North Draw underground urban exploration as you can see. I am trying to shoot a close up of some old rusted step irons
A re-edit of my previous image to add some contrast, grit and general 'grubbiness'!
The result of the flooded garden in my previous image is mud all over the garden and paths, and pawprints like these when the dog comes inside, if we're not quick enough with a towel!

No great claims for the quality of this grainy unlit photo, but the substitution today of 37099 and 37175 topping and tailing the Aberdeen PLPR circuit merits a record shot. 37099 leads 1Q26 out of Dock Street tunnel towards Carnoustie not long before sunset.
Listening to the radio feed tipped me off to a 112 and 375 working west on the Southern West District. Without any firm plans for the day, Grady and I set out as the trains approached Belleville. There is a city skate park and a nice green space near MP 17 that we could hang out at for the short wait. I was happy not to see foreign power but tis the season for grungy motors!
Here's 112 with a block of stacks up front rounding the bend at MP 17 in Belleville, IL.

I had to slither around for an hour under our back deck today to put up some fencing (because the inspector said so). When I crawled out from underneath, Ian burst out laughing at the dirt on my face.
Painted in 2015, I modified the combed hair piece by cutting off the tip to make the hair look more like Filthy Franks.
Still life in coins, wanted to emphasise the dirtiness, the used patina to the coins, the countless marks from a thousand hands, purses and cash drawers that gives the story to each coin.
Too often we don't stop to conside the internal dialogue that goes on under the surface between the world we live in and the world behind it - the movements of everyday objects, the people who touch them, the stories they can tell.
Any one of these coins might have been once owned by a child who saved them to buy something she loved or might have been the last money in someones pocket to buy food with.
They can tell us stories if we think about them - this is a persons bus fare money, this paid for the paper and so on.
Black and white Ilford 1600 filter then lomofied, Im not 100 sure about the end result which is kind of why its here - for your thoughts, critiques and suggestions.

I guess the job was even too filthy for the machine operator today. I can just imagine the fun our three boys would've had in this mud pile!
A good friend likes to remark when running into cruddy-looking motive power that "they weren't sending their best." That sure applies to the dreadful appearance of the 7710 here, but it does fit with the train it is hauling past 32nd Street in Birmingham. While 12T may look like a normal stack train at first glance, you don't want to get too close to those containers as they are returning empty from hauling loads of northeastern garbage to the large Arrowhead Landfill in rural West Alabama near Selma. Even when empty those retired steamship boxes put out a pungent odor that would knock a buzzard off a gut wagon!
